So, you've got insurance and proper licenses, right?

Yeah I'm surprised the legality issue has just now been brought up.....

Arizona rifleworks was talking about greeting a build day for people to make both the shovel Ak and ppsh's . Both can be done with common tools.
I'd be there.

Yeah, it was an April Fool's joke. What a dick.

Right? I thought it was probably a joke, but then again what day would be better for the gov't to shut down a bunch of websites they didn't like.... lol
Just in case anyone wanted the story from the shovel AK, here it is.  This one is not an April fools day joke.

This story is full of so much win.

Well it looks like I should have downloaded the CAD models months ago before this documentary came out.....
The website is down. Is this legit gov't work? This is kinda sketchy looking.... Actually. It's April 1st.

The shovel receiver AK was an awesome thread. Forget where I read it....

Watched the video. I like what he's doing. His execution and motivations however.... Well, I probably would have come about it differently by obtaining an FFL first, etc..... From the "attention" standpoint, who doesn't love pissing off gun grabbers? I can't really blame him for that. But again I would rather fly under the radar haha.

For those who didn't get to the end of the website, Cody now has an FFL. Here's his website: http://defcad.org/

This is a bad idea on so many levels.. Until the next World War or government takeover.  Not that I'm saying I wouldn't print one, I totally would.  But Cody really needs to think about who he is giving access to the blueprints, not just leaving them all over the internet.

I thought this was America?
Haha but seriously. It's not like criminals will have access to a multi-thousand dollar 3-d printer.... Plus you gotta download the computer models now because if SHTF you think the internet will stay up for long?

Gas Powered Guns / KWA m9 PTP hammer issues... advise?
« on: March 27, 2013, 12:03:50 AM »
Hey y'all. I'm referb-ing this m9 I got for cheap, but it's got a few problems, this being a big one. The hammer catches back when you cock it by hand but if you pull it fast it won't catch. This also causes full auto fire occasionally.....

I had the thing open recently and the internals didn't look too worn, but I figure other people have dealt with similar problems, so before I open it up again thought I'd ask. That way at least I'll have a few things to look for when I do open it back up.

Video of it misbehaving:
