Any news on the AGM MG42 or ECHO1 M240 Bravo or LMGs M249s?
« on: October 08, 2010, 04:25:09 PM »
I'm looking into getting my team a LMG. Right now I only see a few out that I am considering, but I don’t want to buy a new gun then have something awesome come out a month or two later. So with that thought, does anyone have any reliable news on the AGM MG42, ECHO1 M240 Bravo, or any other LMG coming out in the future? If you do price, stats, make, and release date would be great.

It might be just me but it seems like there are a lot of people selling M249s lately. I was just wondering is there another or newer version of the 249 coming out soon? If so, what information does anyone have on it? Brand, cost, stats, and release date would be great.

The echo 1 rpk is beautiful. but in the asgi chrono test, it maxed out 470fps. Were they using .12s????

E-Mail Echo 1 and ask, they respond pretty quick, and AGM and CYMA were canceled, weren't they?

Lol.....that's CYMA for you.  A lot of their guns shoot HOT. 470 fps is BASR territory here.  If you get one, you're going to have to drop in an M120/SP110 spring right way.  (unless you like playing by yourself lol)

The E1 sure seems to be a CYMA.  If not, the E1 looks just like it.

Not really looking of a RPK at the moment. More interested in a never version M249, or if the ECHo 1 or AGm M240b and MG42 are coming out.

Bottom line is that you won't know for sure until they're available for sale.

Well that sucks, you would figure they would advertize a little. I emailed ECHO1 so maybe they will be nice and give me a little info.

Agm was one of those chinese companies shut down. Most moved to hong kong or other countries. However i dont think agm was able to restart. I believe they were one of the companies who had people arrested. Their PPSH was due out in a month at one point and even ebaybanned had a picture and promo up. Then all of a sudden nothing, and the supply of their guns started to dry up. Do some internet searching and you might be able to find out more about them/ verify these statements. However i wouldn't plan on seeing their gun anytime... ever...

I have no idea about the echo1... A&K seems to be back in business, so you might see something new from them in coming months...

Finding that information cane be hard because AGM is the translation of their real name so you would have to find out their chinesse name first and I have a feeling their website is all in chineese

How about the Ares LMG?

Though not sure of the release date you could email ZShot, the US distributor and try to get an ETA.

ive found some info from hong kong board members on various different international forums... however its all up to the interpreter to determine whats legit and whats not... WW2aa and red alliance are mainly where ive seen the info... Anyone can say whatever on the internet though... Various airsoft blogs based out of europe have some info as well. its all puzzle pieces though, no complete gathering of info...

Frontiers on ArniesAirsoft has alot of information regarding AGM and other clone manufacturers. I would say that the E1 M240 is gonna be xmas this year or early next year, they advertised it alot.

Best 249 is the CA

I would say that if AGM tries to resurface, theyll be concentrating on recuperating their losses rather than new projects. I wouldnt count on seeing it anytime soon.

Frontiers is also full of it more often than not.  If you you prove him wrong he litterally responds with comments like "I'm Frontiers from Arnie's, so I'm right".
