TBH this thread is all crap because none of this general demographic has any idea of the actual business status of this hobby is.  Talk to the people that run the businesses already in place and get the idea, not grab ideas from people off a forum that have no idea what goes into actually running a business.

I use standard/mid-caps because hi-caps are gay.

As this is a question of opinion yours is not appreciated in the fact that there is no justification.  [-(

Anyway there are a couple of things that you'll realize using one or the other.  The choice should be pretty easy to make deciding on a couple of factors.  One being if you like the whole "REALISM" genre then the low/standard cap is for you.  If you know you've got decent control of your trigger finger and still like to me a little more milsim and hate the high cap rattle, the mid cap is for you.  If you couldn't care less about the vintage high cap rattle and don't plan on attending any LARGE events (LC, BH, etc) then the high cap or the mid cap could suit you.  It's a matter of priorities and wants in your personal rig.  good luck on your decision

P.S.  P-mags are smexy and I'd take the mid caps of them any day.

The only brand you can really go with at that price is echo 1.  The mp5 master series should be good for you if you'd like a gun with adaptability (extra lower receiver).  The only thing is, the mp5 master series is the only gun they make that shoots lower than the fps limit for cqb, so if you're looking for an m4 or some other weapon you'd have to do a spring swap.  Check out gearbox, i'm not too sure if they have any master series in but Ron will be more than happy to help you.

Gearbox Airsoft
1833 E Southern ave // Tempe,AZ
South east corner of Southern and Mcclintock rd (I believe)
480-345-3575

Hope to see you at cqb soon!

P.S. - Stock of an m4 break? ABSURD someone must have been really reckless with their gun.  ](*,)

Will be there, unsure what time

no such thing as a high cap that you don't have to wind

Not necessarily:

However, you could buy a box of 90 round mid-caps:

Mid-caps require no winding, and carry much more than a standard-cap.

you know what i meant.

With anyone purchasing their first gun I would always suggest getting the m-series because of most people are knowledgeable with them and there are loadssssssssssssssssssssssssss of possibilities when it comes to upgrading and its easy to find replacement parts for, they're also easiest to learn from.
