I have the WE Hi Capa 5.1 Expert (the one with the extended rail on the bottom). It seems to be what makes the safety lever click in to place, but I'm not sure if it has any other functions, although it doesnt seem to...

Oh, also, might you know where you can find... well, you know that little pin thats behind the safety lever... the one that has a tendency to fly off into oblivion if you're not very, very careful of how you take the safety off? Well, I might have to get a new one... lol...

That would be awesome! Also, have you any plans to sell one or two extended magazines?

Given two weeks notice to a game like this, you can definitely count on my attendance. I think that it would be pretty cool, given the proper organization and coordination...

Could it have hurt somehow that I adjusted the leaf spring's tension on the trigger a bit? I had been using propane in it until about a week ago when I finally got around to getting some duster gas (mainly for my TMP, but since I've kept it in my room its been more convenient for testing). It acts the same way with propane too, and I think now its down to three shots. I just reassembled one of my mags and thoroughly lubed the rubber seal, and I've also dropped a few drops of oil around the piston cup. I'm starting to wonder if maybe there's an issue with the piston head... even though I've seen the one on the capa and it's beastly... at least compared to that of the TMP...

I'm pretty sure this has been addressed before, but I did do a search beforehand, but as to avoid necro-posting, I started a new topic. Essentially, I can dry fire my hi-capa to my heart's content, and it is just fine. But should I try fire it with BB's in it, it will only shoot 5 times before running out of gas. I'm trying to figure out, essentially, if my hi capa was just a bad investment, and if I should move on to a better brand, or if I'm just doing something wrong.

And just if you're wondering, I've allowed for a proper gas charge in the magazine as well.

What do you use as a stiffener, if anything, to make the vest fit like a proper vest?

I'm Derrick, also known as Katana (or Katana0, spkatana, etc.)... a few of you may have seen a post of mine or two... I've been here for a while (I just havent posted much) but somehow I just made it here lol...

I started out with an interest in the military, then it turned into an interest in guns in general, but since I'm just now turning 18, there wasnt much I could do besides look (since my parents are generally against guns, it seems), so I ended up finding out about airsoft, somehow...

I dont have much experience yet, but I'm looking foward to attending an event or two at some point. Hopefully I can get a free weekend sometime...

Seems like most of the Rebel Union events are for 18+ only, and I wont meet that requirement 'till August.

Yup, I can drive. I live up here in Glendale though. At some point when I get a day off when there's an AA game, I'munna have to come down there and see exactly how things are structured...

Ty! Very true, and I will keep that in mind!

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Looking for a good spot to train...
« on: June 06, 2009, 10:40:29 PM »
I'm pretty new to airsoft, and so is the rest of my team. We're looking for somewhere in Phoenix where we can train up a bit before we actually go to a game. I was looking for a place that is preferably free, and not too far out of town. Does such a place actually exist?
