The new field is pretty nice. If you look up the original field on google earth or google maps, just continue going parallel to the canal an additional .8 miles where you'll see another canal bridge. The new AO has a neat, thick tree line on its west that provides interesting game play.
EDIT: there's also a few dirt ramps that were probably set up by bikers, which you can also see on G.E., which serve pretty well for landmarks and reference points.
