I played for PMC at the last event and the rule was supposed to be semi-auto only for PMC but many were using full auto as we had heard the rule had been changed. Will this be more strictly enforced for this game?

PMC team will be required to use semi-automatic for their weapons.

Our staff is still looking for at least four more zombie volunteers for the game.   Volunteers will receive a free admission to a future Marauders Airsoft event.

Please send an email to MTTStaff@gmail.com for more information.

The first round of game rules and schedule will be emailed out next week.

Howdy MTT,

This is Drew Warner aka "Doctor Zombie."

Please sign me up as a Zombie Volunteer once again.  I had such a blast doing it at the last game, working with such a great group of volunteers.  I'm really looking forward to an even better time for round 2, hehe.

I also have some questions for you about that.  Please check your e-mail at MTTStaff@gmail.com.  Based on that answer, I'm going to try to pay the admission at Gearbox or Vanguard sometime this weekend (Feb. 5 - 6) I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

GLHF guys.  That last event kicked as*, and I'm really looking forward to this one, hehe.

Howdy all.

I have a link to a thread in the Game Discussion forum about the upcoming Left 4 Dead:

Feb. 26 Left 4 Dead - Zombie Volunteers Sound Off Here
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=29498

We're trying to recruit more volunteers to roleplay as Zombies for the game.  We have 3 - 7 I believe, and we're looking for at least 10 or more.  We also want current volunteers to sound off in that forum, so we can keep track of each other prior to game day.

Anyway, I don't want to thread-jack anybody, so please post further discussion or sign-ups in the link above (but don't forget to sign up with MTT via mttstaff@gmail.com AND pre-pay at either Gearbox or Vanguard's).

I'd love to go, but $50 entry to an event is just waaaaayyyy too much for me. If the general prepaid admission was lowered to... Even $35, I'd definitely be in. Darn.
I know you and Poinerdude had trouble swinging the price.  2 options for you to lower it:

1)  Zombie Volunteers get into L4D for Free.  Free game anybody?
2)  MTT sells Annual or Season Passes, which drop the price down to $30, not a bad investment at all!  I'm not sure if they're selling them in time to apply for THIS event, or even how much they are, but send them an e-mail and ask.

Anyway, GLHF all.  See you on game day.

So now im hearing more and more stories about this "tank" im familiar, i played the game, but how does that work into the game in a balanced way? There a special way to deal with it or do we just shoot it till its "dead"

Hehe, yah... the Tank!  I love that thing.  ;)

Anywho, I can't speak for THIS upcoming event.

But I was on the zombie team at the LAST Left 4 Dead (Oct. 30th, 2010).

In THAT game, the tank was slow.  Any human player will easily be able to outrun it.  Just don't run your way into a room with no backdoor.  ;)

As for taking it out, there is no way to "kill" the Tank.  But it can be stun with grenades.

Either a nerf rocket (make sure it's SOFT!) inside of an M203, launched by a gas grenade shell (with NO BBs inside of it).  That stuns it for 30 seconds.

Or roll (not throw... roll) a grenade near the Tank's feet, wait three seconds, and call out "Bang!"  While your team's moving, count out 1-mississipi, 2-mississipi... you have10-mississipi's to get away.

Also, there are some doors the Tank can't get through.  The bugger's too tall, and he can't duck low enough to clear the top of the door, hehe.

Just my own experiences, hehe.

On what team my friend?  But before you make your choice, check the player count and make sure it's open.

The list of "current-ish" players who are signed up is on the 2nd page of this thread.

GLHF mate.

EVENT UPDATE

This game is filling up fast.

There are only about 6 spaces left on the civilian team.

We have over 40 paid players and are still receiving emails and registrations with two weeks to go.

The only way to reserve a space is to visit Gearbox Airsoft or Vanguard Indoor Playground and prepay.  This game will definitely sell out.

Our staff is no longer holding spaces via email or telephone.  There will be six walk on spaces added on the day of the event for $70.  Even with these spaces, the game count will be 58 players plus zombies.

Event rules and schedule will be emailed by next Thursday to all registered players.

The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of millions is a statistic.
