i am getting all of that squared away but i need to see what kind of a response i get to see if its even worth the effort of going through the chain of command to get something like this cleared everything is going smooth so far
i'm sure you'll have a pretty decent turn-out since it is on an AFB.  you could get 30 from Tucson easily.  i'd say 60 max...just a guess.  depending on the age limit.

oh, if you get pictures of the AO it would help.

If its all extremely kosher, then I might bring a jeep-load down from Phoenix.

I am guessing that its a low security area or something like that.

I don't break rules!!  If there is any rule breaking involved count me out!

Be Well,
Charlie

It would help your cause to disclose more details about how you are seeking permission, who you are seeking permission from, etc.....

If this is legit you shouldn't have any reason to not let everyone know the details....

If we can get in the gate, in bdu's no trouble, have with us our Airsoft guns, gather at a site and wage combat training on DM and not get shot or arrested by base SP's then I can bring 8-12 shooters for sure!

How long before we can plan for this op?

There's no such thing on a military base.... :)
You have either a standard installation area where anyone with base assess privileges can access, or a Restricted area (flight lines, etc) where a specific access permit (commonly called a Restricted Area Badge) is needed.

A major part of the land on DM is covered under Restricted Access (The AMARC area is one, as well as some of the unused desert areas due to unexploded ordinance dating as far back as WWII...). There is a paintball field on base, as well as a training area for the SFS.

He's a DM airman down here.  He and his friends have come to a few local games.

If he gets the correct documentation, it could certainly draw a crowd....possibly away from "other" OP's. ;)

They do have a field training area, however. We used it for three days when we did Air Base Ground Defense training. Pretty large area on the South East side of the base (If I remember correctly).

did the idea of games on Davis Monthan die away?

What happened? There are not very many chances of playing much in Tucson lately so we where getting excited to see some one new do some thing new for a change down here.

Any one with a team or group that want to do battle in Tucson anymore?
Team SCUM is open to schedule a skirmish with anyone interested, name the spot, give a little notice and we will be there gunning.

Count me in if you manage - Assuming I don't get stopped at the gate for a "Random Inspection" - Having SFS open my rifle bag and spotting a -16 with the M203 would cause - embarrassments. And my rendition of the Security Forces Macarena....

Wouldn't you be able to bring them on if you get a visitor's pass?? I've brought all kinds of Civi's on base by getting a visitors pass, EVEN IN THEIR CIVILIAN VEHICLES. lol
