What the hell is it with you people and poor communication. This forum is where EVERYONE (well, every Educated person, i think, tho..) comes for the "Airsoft 'Skip'" in Arizona.
Little ol' me from Gilbert found out & discovered Balkan Hammer II (OUT IN FLAGSTAFF) from this site. Realize that when you post things on here, like, GAMES, most of the "REAL" airsofters in this state, see that.
Come [post] prepared, with all the vital info and details for a game, gathering, or Op. before you go to post. I understand that certain details are TBD, or may change as time goes by, but this is just... juvenile.
Didn't you pay attention in English class, or are you still finishing High School?

If he doesn't give enough information then his games will certainly fail, and he won't make any more posts.

If it was worth going to there would be a full spread of info. Since that's not the case I can only assume I'm not missing out on anything.

It's forum Darwinism...

Its called a search engine guys... You could probably google the place faster then it took to make a flame post saying how "dumb" he is or how its "forum darwinism." If you guys just took the time to SEARCH it and not sit and flame him because he messed up a little by not putting all the information...Chill out. And it only takes one of you to tell him to put the info, not three....hmmmm seems like you did it to rank post....

My point exactly...some cocky reply to boost up your rank...

Okay, now that the bickering is through, has anybody been here and played before?  How's the turnout?  For some of us down here in the Sierra Vista area, it's a lot easier to make it to Tucson than places like Four Peaks, but if nobody's playing (or if everybody's waiting for it to warm up in the spring) then it's hardly worth me driving up there this weekend and such.

if you're looking for games in Tucson http://www.tucsonairsoftcoalition.com is your best bet.
we usually have games going on every weekend that are advertised on that site. Disruptive Paintball games are advertised on that site as well.
DP has a good field and I've played there quite a few times. I usually play with my team early on Saturday mornings tho out in the desert so by the time 3:30pm rolls around I'm usually already at home and working on my third or fourth beer and I don't make it to the DP games :)

Ah, okay.  I'll try to check it out this weekend, work schedule depending (stupid work!  :x  )

I had looked at TAC's website before, but since everything was date-stamped 2004 I had feared the website was a dead end.

no its definitely very alive and kicking.
we changed the web address recently so www.tucsonairsoftcoalition.com is the address you'll want to check out.
we had a great game last weekend at the SASCO field and drew around 40-50 people.

Okay, so I checked out the field today and wanted to throw my initial impressions up here.

-The location is good, but the directions from disruptive paintballs website and on the back of their business cards aren't much help.  I ended up having to call the store on my mobile phone to figure out where it is.  They could use some better signs and some better maps.
-We had about 20 people here, varying ages.  Most games were single elimination.
-The field facilities are spartan but sufficient.  Restrooms are porta-john style.  There is a small field shop if you run low on BBs and such.
-The fields themselves are pretty good, if a little small.  Most fields are spools and plywood building mockups, which makes for decent short to medium range engagements.  Most movements are short runs from one bit of cover to the next.

That's all for now.  I'll post some pics when I get a chance to shoot some, and will try to get some better (google map) directions.
