Have the holes tapped for steel helicoil inserts.  Then you won't strip them out like the soft aluminum has.  Any machine shop can do it if your not up to it.

NAPA auto parts stores carry them.  You can also check with machine shops to see if they'll sell them to you.

Look up Napa auto parts in the yellow pages.  Find one listed with a machine shop.  Take the outer barrel to them, not the whole gun.  Tell them you want the stripped holes heli coil threaded and they'll know what to do.  If they ask what it's for, tell them it's for a paintball gun.

Will they know what size to tap it? Or should I give them the bolt?

They'll most likly have to substitute an sae thread size since your gun is threaded metric and most shops don't do anything in metric threading.  Bring them the bolt and show them what size your looking for though.  They know what their doing and when the see the size of the hole you want fixed they'll pretty much know what size to use.

I checked some shops, and they dont have anything under a size 4. Mine is a 3 so I might just get it tapped to 4 and drill the stock a little. Any sugestions?

Outer barrel problem.

I was testing out my aps 2 (Bought off ebay). Put it together and noticed that the bolt I screwed in towards the front didnt screw in. I keep trying and looking at it, and found out the threads on the outer barrel were striped. The gun stays togher with one bolt, and is fine when shooting targers, but when you move it around a lot you can kinda tell. I am thinking I can re-tap the threads at a biger size. Does anyone know anything else that will work?
