Though it's a nice rifle, it's VERY powerful and will easily put you at about 600+ FPS with .20g BB's.

I have a real M700 PSS and would be curious at how it looks side by side (comparison) with the Tanaka M700.  IIRC, the Tanaka one is a "PSS" model.

I was thinking the same thing.  Nice rifle, but too hot to play with safely.  I cringe to think that some airsoft teams don't regulate FPS on guns like these.  Someone could be seriously injured.

I use mine all the time at non AA games.  I have not hurt anyone, even at close range.  I had my friend shoot me in the back at 10 feet a number of times, it doent hurt at all.  The only thing that sucks is that I can only play at non AA games.

HA!  You made my leg bleed from well over 40 yards, through DCU tousers.  Hurt?  Not really, but a face shot with that power would really make some people mad.

If this gun was in the hands of a skilled sniper, there would be some serious carnage!

edit: It IS a very nice rifle!  You made a good buy, Joey.[:)]

I'm not jumping into this, but I do like the gun...and as long as the velocities are within guidelines, they are acceptable to use @ AA games.

Yea, I used it at an AA game, it was a approved prior to use.  I did have to put 134a gas in it though for the last game.  I shot Frank (screwloose) at the last game from about 40 yards, and hit him in the neck.  It didnt hurt him at all, not even a mark.  I have owned numerous guns, this is the most realistic that I have seen.  Im trying to get a adjustable bolt for it now so I can use it in AA games.

If you buy the M24 instead of the m700, it has a power control system.

That's what I need for the pigeons around my house. Hey, it's not techincally classed as a "firearm." [:D]

That looks like a Leupold on there (Golden Ring scope), but the turrets don't look like a Leupold. Anyone know what brand that scope is? Just curious.

EDIT: Now, why can't I find a nice 700 in .22-250 for that much (w/scope)?!?

[Edit] Maybe not.
