Don't you have some sort of virtualization option? Low-speed enough to run in VPC7 or better yet, Parallels.

You know, with all the not playin' ya do, I figured you'd at least have that one figured out. :o

My ghetto PowerPC iBook can't run Parallels.  That, and I kinda ran out of hard drive space for VP7 and dumped it, although I didn't really use Windows for anything other than running misc crap in IE6 anyway, and it was still slower than FDR's wheelchair in an illegal street race.

And I have been playing again, just haven't made it to an AA game yet.  I was spending my weekends prepping some stuff for a thing in D.C. which is now over and can be explained by watching this video podcast: http://www.hak5.org/archives/167

very interesting; but don't believe it's effective range numbers. It doesn't have an accurate calculator for drag vs. mass.

Easy to use, just does simple physics calculations with a neat GUI.

edit:
.20 at 300 fps= .83 Joules; calculated effective range= 134.93ft
.20 at 387 fps= 1.38 Joules; calculated effective range= 173.98ft
.12 at 300 fps= .50 Joules; calculated effective range= 135.20ft
.12 at 387 fps= .83 Joules; calculated effective range= 174.19ft

exact numbers from the program

Very true. I am planning an overhaul of the application though. The new version will be available as an online application and an application for windows. There will be several important calculation changes in the program to make it more accurate. Right now though, 2 projects have priority over the new version of AirsoftCalc, so the new version won't be available until summer.

Did anyone here download AirsoftSearch? What did you think of it? For those who didn't, it is an application that makes searching multiple retailers at once easier. Here is a picture:

It's nice to see a very active airsoft forum for Arizona. I was born in Tucson myself.

That is why I am working on an online version. That way anyone on any platform can use it.

'ib' is a meme cultured largely on internet forums where a poster makes conjecture and theorizes on events in the future. It's an abbreviation for 'I believe'.

For example, 'ibflash' means 'I believe it will be coded in flash and therefore be ultimately useless on your Blackberry Pearl.'
