What is the longest lasting gun you have owned?
« on: December 24, 2004, 03:47:54 PM »
I have a G17 KWA Viper, that I bought from the Command post five years ago this month. I can say that this gun has been to hell and back, and beg's for more. The only thing that I have done to it is given it a more powerfull recoil spring and Valve upgrade last year. Its still is in great shape!!! So what is your longest lasting gun AEG or GBB?

I have a TM MP5A4 that was bought by the original owner in 96 or 97, cant remeber which one.  I left it stock and I have never had to do anything on it, it has all original parts minus the battery.  The battery died last year.

TM MP5 SD5...Ive actually owned it twice in its lifetime, and it was 3 years old when I got it the 1st time.

Also a UHC glock that still shoots is almost 5 years old itself. Rick

These are the classics that I currently own:
JAC m16-A1
FTC Spectre
Kokusai M16 Patriot

I'm happy to see companies like Sun Project are getting back into gas assault rifles. Hopefully other companies will begin producing models other than sniper rifles or something based off of the AR-15 platform.

CA CQBR is about 3 years old and has seen more than 10 Natioal Ops.. gets a tune up every 6 months ($20 or so)

and a TM Beta Spetz that someone else used to own before me... Nikki has beat the shit out of the earth with this thing and it still works great....  needs a new butt stock though...

Did the buttstock break again? I can't seem to keep a gun, I'm trying though once and if I get another one. The longest gun I had was my TM g36c the first one. I had it for around a year give or take.

Hmm, I'd have to say my DPMS A15 Electric which barely qualifies as an AEG.  It's lasted me three years, maybe four.  I can't remember.  I'm extremely suprised it made it this far...

Next up is my CA M15 which has gone for a year and a few months now.  I did have an SRC M16, but that thing only lasted a year and a half before the sector gear died a horrible death from me using full auto too long.  It probaly would have lasted longer if I'd treated it better.
