Troubleshooting / Re: KWA G19?
« on: April 21, 2010, 07:05:31 AM »
for problem 1 and 3, a picture would help quite a bit. also KWA/KSC arent the only ones that make compact glocks, KWJ, TM, and others make compact glocks which could be why the recoil spring may not work.

No 10 total installed.

oh, i see. well either way... its alot cheaper if you DIY ;)

Not if you dont know how to solder and you wreck the deans connector. wouldnt be the first time someone melted the connector because they didnt know what they were doing. if you dont feel comfortable soldering then let someone who does handle it.. or man up and learn by doing it.

Nice!

GBBRs Rule!

Suckas,,,

Except when the mags leak.

Or it's cold.

Or it breaks.

Or there are FPS limits.

Or the day ends in "y".

I have real guns that have a reciprocating bolt.

All I want an airsoft gun to do is shoot BBs.  And work ALL THE TIME.   ;)
you forgot except if you are behind hector when his mag blows propane out the top while loading gas and he pulls it away from the can... right into your face.... with your mouth open... twice

Bump for a great, great seller, this guy is legit and when he says excellent condition he means it. I'm thoroughly pleased with the EoTech I bought off him and would recommend buying from him to anyone. I did like he said he would in this post and he shipped the item to his father I met with him to inspect it. Again I was thoroughly pleased with everything from first and all contact to mounting it to my AR-15 to now, he is good people and so is his dad. Oh and your dad is super cool btw Darrell, I had a great convo with him! Tell him I said hi and thanks for meeting with me!

Troubleshooting / Re: M4 Upper Reciever
« on: March 14, 2010, 10:06:14 PM »
this is not the same gun but the process should be similar..

STEP 1
Remove Flashhider

STEP 2
Remove Front Sight
You should have access holes to put the punch through to get the sight pins out.

STEP 3
Unscrew Barrel Nut Sleeve
Pull forward on rails to keep unscrewing it, rails will separate. also remove the gas tube

STEP 5
Remove Barrel Nut.
Dont lose the shims and dont use a locking wrench on the threads. i think an AR multi tool should work, just make sure what ever you use to use the holes in the front of the barrel nut to loosen or tighten it.

AEG's / Re: Echo 1 Mod 4 CQB
« on: March 14, 2010, 08:25:55 PM »
it probably rotated loose. that kind of free float connects to a proprietary barrel nut to keep the pressure of rails and accessories off of the barrel and on the upper. It keeps it's position with metal shims between the upper receiver and the barrel nut, If it was shimmed correctly it should just need to be tightened enough to hold it's place.

depends on the design of the free float rails, got a pic of the actual gun?

Do any sites still carry VFC 416's? I saw them on wgc shop's website but haven't really seen them in stock elsewhere.
From what hear they havent been in production for quite some time since Umarex bought H&K licensing a couple years or so back.

VFC
+1.... err 2

The VFC is the closest recreation that I have run across. The are a few brands out there with HK416's and many are copies of other brands. The VFC's are hard to find but worth the effort. There is a clone of the VFC made by Dboys, but it's basically a great body kit (what they copied from VFC) with crap internals. I would only get the Dboys if you want it for just the body. I also have Hurricane HK416s and they are about twice the weight of the VFC and the dimensions are way off. AGM and Echo1 seem to be clones of the HurricanE, Echo1 being the only plastic bodied one of the mentioned. There are 2 other brands I have not had experience with yet, SRC and Classic Army. The SRC looks like it's hard to come by as well since Umarex got sue happy, leaving the authorized Classic Army's which are over priced unless you get the plastic versions which I hear are the only of the any listed that has plastic RIS rails. The listed above are only AEGs, there are gas versions out/coming out of the 416 to look out for as well. If i ever bought another the VFC is the only way to go, but hell I already have 2..

Those are cool pics. Definately changed my view of Multicam

thats what i said... :-s but a full uniform is ganna set u back a cool $142 for the tops and bottom but would be well worth it...im ganna get em as soon as i can save up some cash...

Genuine Multicam can be had for much less then 140 for top and bottom. uniforms in this pattern cause the priceto vary, different uniform cuts and material can make the uniforms can either rise or lower the cost.
