That's a pretty good idea about having the filtered lights, I was going to get that, but army surplas (extendion and main) ran out, but they did have it in the shippments that came in yesterday, they just didn't have time to open them yet, so I'll probably will go get one later on this week at army surplas.

I didn't like the confusions too much, maybe because I got shot by my teammates say...... 3-4 differ times?

You forgot the 2x4, K-bar 2000 knife, and about a dozen or so spectators!

In all seriousness, if it makes ya'll feel bad over killing the posionous snakes then next time who finds them keep you distance and call me over, I've had experiance handling them before and can remove it from the AO (maybe to the other side of the highway??).

What is funny is at the Ranch games we've found 2 {good sized}snakes in 2 months, and I have yet to find one in almost 12 months at my house about 10-15 miles away.

Drake:
By my count it was:

One airsofter to see the snake.
Three airsofter to almost step on it.
Three more to shoot at it, which just made it mad.
A dozen or so to stand around yelling.
And one to smoosh it with a board.  <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

All things being considered, (no moonlight most of the night, large number of newbies, snakes, lack of equipment, ect.), I think it was a good game.  Next night game I think we should make more use of glow stick to mark respond points, obstacles, and so forth.  Also, I think the use of the million powered light should be limited, or at least balanced between the teams.

I did have fun though, and I am looking forward to the next one <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Ok Guys I got some bad news (for me) and soem REALLY bad new for all. Ranch games may have to be limitied from now on. I went looking for the USP mag I dropped at the game (didn't find it, bad news for me) and descovered 3 large bee hives in 2 different houses. How we missed them I do no know, lucky I'm guessing.

Maybe night games will work but I don't know for certian, since one hive (I thin people knew of this one) is in the roof of one house, but the other two are in open walls were a bump or spray off BB's could aggravate the lil devils.

I'll try my hand at some cheap drawing here to show every one where the bee's are located.

East end of houses                             West end of houses

  A      B                   /C    D    E

Ok read from left to right as the houses lined up a-e, the "/" is the lin of brush next to the middle of the 5 houses.

The bee's are in houses A and C.
In A the bee's are in the kitchen wall between the living rooma dn kitchen, and possable in one of the other walls I could hear bee's but not see an entrance.

In C the bee's are in the large room against the brush "fence" up in the actic crawl space and eastern brick wall. They are also in the kitchen sink cupboard in the sam building. Both of these hives were very active when I was out there today and sounded quite large.

Now as I said this could be very bad news for games at the ranch. Maybe these bee's will move their homes, but for saftey's sake I wanted to put the word out for EVERYONE's saftey. Woudl hate some airsofter to go out there and die from bee stings.

Edit-- I may get thal it was a lot of fun, minus a few snags.  I do have to agree with masks myself.
