AGM GBB M4/ KJW GBB M4
« on: September 12, 2010, 08:33:24 PM »
Hey dudes im looking to get a KJW M4, but I was also looking to get a AGM. Obviously from what I have seen the AGM GBB is out of production. My question is are KJW parts readily available, and does anyone know where to get the AGM GBB?

If anyone out there is looking to sell their GBB M4 give me a shout im interested.

On another note when is the KWA GBB Rifle coming out? I have seen videos and heard rumors its coming out summer 2010.

Thanks

The AGM is a POS, straight out.

Head over to arniesairsoft.co.uk in the forums(current down for a few hrs) and read up on the KJW and AGM, WA, whatever.

The KJW thread is 140 pages long with only about 20 posts with problems, the rest is praise.

The WE/WA/AGM etc threads are mostly problems and expensive parts problems

The KJW has only a little bit of aftermarket support, mainly right here in AZ. T_Hum of Cradle airsoft makes a piston, velocity reducer, a bolt carrier extension and will have a full complete bolt being released shortly. I don't want to give any more details than that  ;) . CA parts are top notch.

There are also two companies right now producing several different magazines, both P-Mag and STANAG mags in a GG and Co2 variety, these are being produced right here in the USA. I can only speak for one company, but I know they are looking to release a short run around Christmas.

KJW replacement parts are pretty easy; email KJW in taiwan with part numbers and a shipping address then 2-3 days later you get a quote and pay through paypal. About 3-4 days later you receive your replacement parts.

As far as overall value and reliability, its KJW. Raven1 has over 13,000rds through his, over 2,000 through mine with minimal issues, all fixed within 10$. Mags are hard to find right now because when they become in stock, people horde them. This is becoming less of a problem as KJW keeps up with the demand. Mags usually cost between 40 and 43 dollars shipped, a hard buy to beat for any other company.

Any questions Pm myself or Raven1

PS: you will most likely not find a KJW for sale, people hold onto them, and when they sell, they hold about 80-90% value from MSRP.

Don't waste your cash on the AGM.

I could give you several reasons with links and support as to why the AGM isn't worth its weight in metal; however, within 24 hours someone else will post the same reasons I would, but in much greater detail.  I'm lazy, and I'd rather not waste my time...

The KJW is amazing, and you won't regret your investment.  Although I don't own one myself, I’ve seen them, held them, and fired them, and if they made a HK 416 variant, I'd have one.  They have proven themselves in the short time they've been on the field, and Raven1 can tell you anything you need to know.
