Title: Smoke Grenades
Post by: busta_cap on February 04, 2010, 03:39:38 PM
I know real pyrotechnics are off limits because of forestry restrictions, that, and it's just not smart. I came across these the other day and bought a few. They are non pyrotechnic "cold burning" smoke grenades. They are pretty good and I tested them out today..Worked great.

I guess not. Well, probably 200 degrees or so once they started. The longer they "burn" the farther from the holes they get..I got some burnt on my hand when i set one off cause i didn't clear my fingers from the ejection ports. But They shouldn't ignite anything. They are equivalant to a model rocket engine a few mins after launch

Nope. not before I asked. sorry. *canes self relentlessly*
I see that they're pull-ring now. :D

Thanks for the heat-level, that's what I was mostly interested in. Sorry for the newb-move with ignoring the video.

I used smoke grenades like those at the Marauders Blackhawk down event. I was really surprised with how much smoke they put out for their size..
I don't remember how expensive they were though... I do remember looking at it and saying "wow, I paid X amount of dollars for this?"

But it pulled through. I recommend them.

They should be about 5-7$ a piece, compared to what a real pyro smoke grenade costs, that is cheap.
