Airsoft Items FOR SALE / WTS 3 rifles and misc stuff

Getting rid of my old arisoft gear as it's been about 2 years since I've been exchanging plastic. Everything should work fine. I'm basing specs to the best of my memory.

Unknown brand FAMAS. Electric powered. Made of sturdy plastic. I bought this a while ago at Gearbox airsoft. They told me it was probably a Tokyo Marui copy. If I remember right, it should be clocking in at the lower 300's. Comes with 3 magazines and a scope mount. - $50

A&K Dragonuv SVD. Spring pullback. Very nice, made of metal. A bolt was lost when opening it up to adjust the hop up, it now requires tape to be aesthetically pleasing, however it works perfectly. Should clock in at about 400. Comes with a scope mount, but no scope. - $50

AK47 unknown brand. Bought it used. Electric powered. Replaced the spring, but I think the piston grinded down and it does not currently fire. Needs a fix up. Comes with 3 mags. Top cover needs to be taped down, no buttstock cap. I don't know how hard it fires. - $20

2 vests. One tan, when olive green. - $10 each

2 goggles. One clear, one shaded. - $5 each

2 tan kneepads - $5

1 sling. Black. Free if you buy a gun.

General Off-Topic Discussion / Outdated Gas mask

So, I recently bought a Russian GP-5 gas mask to use as full face protection during airsoft and look cool at the same time. But, I've read that outdated gas masks can become deadly after 5 years (this one was made in the mid 80's). I've also read that the GP-5's filter can only become deadly if there is a tear in the cotton filter, because there is charcoal inside the filter.

Which one is true?

Gas Powered Guns / Achtisson Assault Shotgun/AA-12 Blueprints and ideas

I've recently been thinking about designs of an AA-12 airsoft shotgun. It would be GBB. Shotgun shells act like smaller airsoft grenades (several holes for BB's gas loaded into shell). Becuase of this, the magazine would simply act as a carrying case for Shells (that you load into the gun). Once the trigger is pulled, the BB's are ejected from the shell, and the empty shell is pushed out of the gun (see this video for demonstration of similar idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBjWV5bFxbw&feature=player_embedded).

The overall length would be 966mm, barrel length: 457mm

Features M4 style sights and M16 style fixed stock.

Here are some more specs so you might take me seriously.

Shell width: 18.5mm
Shell capacity: 12 6mm BBs
Barrel diameter: 19mm
High quality plastic body
360 RPM

What do you guys think?

Does anybody have a loadout made to look like a character in a movie or video game? Or even a realistic soldier loadout (Waffen SS loadout, Vietnam Soldier loadout)? I've been thinking about making one for Naked Snake and using for Halloween.

General Airsoft Discussion / Field/CQB guns

I've been thinking about getting a gun that can be used in field games and CQB games. I play mostly field, but at cowtown, there is a CQB area and an AK47 doesn't work there. I also plan on going to Vanguard. So, what guns can do this? I know an M4 can, but M4's are more than common. I've been thinking a FAMAS can, since it appears to have the same barrel length as an M4. But, what others are there?

AEG's / Gearbox Trouble

I'm currently taking apart my AK47 to put in a new spring, but a portion of the gearbox is sticking out of the selector switch area.

AEG's / My solution to those pesky buttplates falling off in battle.

I recently bought an AK47, used, as my first AEG. The man I bought it from said the buttplate fell off, so I bought one at gearbox. But after using the AEG for the first time in a game, the buttplate fell off without me noticing, and was lost.

So I came up with a solution to this, I would take it to gearbox and have them rewire the gearbox so I can house the battery in the upper body (I already called them and they said they can do it). I would also buy  folding stock so I never have to worry about buttplates again!

I'm writing this mostly to ask if this would be a good idea. Should I go through with this or just buy another AK with a folding stock?

I partially wrote this to give an idea to anybody with the same problem.
