Hey guys I just got my new P* M4 for xmas and now I need a Air Tank and Air Rig but I am unsure what to get to run the gun optimally and efficiently. I have been back and forth between a SLP rig and a Normal rig? I know there ar some P* gurus on here and would like some pros and cons and just plain reviews! I am in the process of upgrading my loadout and was wondering if anyone had a review on these or a similar brand of Fast Mags Pouches. I am sick of using regular pouches and have been curious about these for some time now. I run 9-10 Pmags and was wondering how the Fast Mag Pouches work and hold up. Any input is appreciate!

As promised in the Pistol thread I am doing a review of the Tokyo Marui MK23 Socom pistol. I purchased this gun on redwolfairsoft.com for $141 plus the insane shipping price BUT even with the shipping it equalled out what other places are selling this setup for without shipping. The way Redwolf works is you pretty much have to choose express mail if you are ordering with Visa or paypal (I did paypal) so the gun is guaranteed to you in 2-5 days if it clears customs. I ordered mine on a wednesday and received it monday, which is fairly fast coming from Hong Kong.  I have wanted the TM MK23 since I got into airsoft almost 2 years ago and finally was able to pick one up. I carry a USP 9mm and just love the look and overall weight of the USP style guns.

First Impressions (case)

After the mail guy dropped the gun off I was super excited Redwolf did a great job shipping the gun and protecting it from customs. As with all guns redwolf sells the trademarks must be removed and the orange tip must be installed. What they did to remove the trades was take super thin black plastic and lightly glued it over the HK trades on the slide and grip, they also painted on the orange. The plastic pieces were easy to remove and didnt leave any marks on the gun. The gun comes in a nice case with a sleeve around it showing amazing looking graphics. The case itself is really nice with high quality foam to keep the gun stored safe and sound until use.





The package comes with the Gun, Suppressor, Mag, Cleaning Rod, Manual, and 100 TM BB's, Everything is nice and neat in the case and easy to remove and keep track of.



Impressions (Gun)

Just looking at the gun the quality is extremely nice, I have read a few reviews saying the slide feels like flimsy plastic and really shiny BUT mine doesn't feel that way at all. The gun has a nice weight to it in your hand with the mag installed. The suppressor is metal and foam filled with TM trades on it. The LAM unit is the only thing in the package that looks like something purchased from Big 5 BUT the gun and suppressor make up for where the LAM unit lacks. It being daytime when I am doing this review I couldn't do a brightness test of the light on the LAM but will do it tonight. The Gun is HUGE period, if you dont have meaty hands or are a big guy it will look and feel ridiculous to you just like the real HK Mark 23 its a big gun. One thing I didnt like about the gun is the sights as seen in the second pic here they don't have any dots on them to make them stand out, but thats nothing a little paint cant fix. As for the mag release if your not familiar with HK's the mag release is down on the trigger guard this may be a little uncomfortable for smaller hands, even I have problems reaching it and I have big hands. The Slide does go back but for what reason I have no idea its pretty much useless except for looks or maybe to clear a jam on the gun.

Shooting

After shooting about 150 rounds through it I was blown away with the accuracy and just how quiet the gun was, with the suppressor on it sounds like a mouse farting. Without the suppressor it has a very distinct crack but nothing to loud. I have read reviews were people don't like the long trigger pull but I find it little like the real USP firearm and firing the TM MK23 is smooth and fast if you know what your doing. This thing is capable on a non windy day of reaching out and touching someone, with the hop cranked and using .20 (not Windy) I was shooting easily over 115+ feet and with the suppressor at that distance that person your shooting at will have no idea were it came from. I would say from 5-10 feet all you hear is the click of the hammer/trigger assembly and at 10-20 feet its a light "puff" sound and at 20+ feet its not even audible.



Accuracy

I performed a accuracy test with and without the suppressor to see if there was any difference I am using .20 grams bb's for this test. Here is the video of the gun with the suppressor and the pictures of the targets after. From what I could see is the accuracy with/without is about the same. There was one flyer when I was shooting without the suppressor because I was aiming like a ra-tard.
