Search results for coffin - Walmart

Quote from: "Associated Press"

The world’s largest retailer wants to keep its customers even after they die.

Wal-Mart has started selling caskets on its website at prices that undercut many funeral homes, long the major seller of caskets.

The move follows a similar one by discount rival Costco which also sells caskets on its site.

Wal-Mart quietly put up about 15 caskets and dozens of urns on its website last week. Prices range from US$999 to US$1,699 (RM3,400 to RM6,000).

A spokesman for Walmart.com declined to release sales figures and downplayed the venture.

Part of the business model is to get people to plan ahead: Walmart.com is allowing people to pay for the caskets over a period of 12 months for no interest.

The funerals industry is not too concerned about Wal-Mart entering the market, said Pat Lynch, president-elect of the National Funeral Home Directors Association.

He said Wal-Mart can’t offer one thing funeral directors can: The ability to comfort someone during trying times.

“There’s no question in my mind as a funeral director for nearly 40 years that the most critical element is the human contact,” he said. — AP

prices are lower from the last time i listed them/different items. i need these items gone fast. hopefully before the weekend ends. you will need to pick up, or meet fairly short distance from me. i am now located in tempe, right next to Gearbox Store (old jungletoy store) on southern and mcclintock. help me get these things gone guys, please.

Like new TM SR-16  SOLD
stock weapon, comes with all you see in pic (basically everything except manual). if cash in hand before end of weekend, i'll toss a free midcap mag and marui charger (provided mag  in pic is a 300rd highcap). Has just about everything you need to start playing.

CA CQB-R package$290
has a Guarder HK416 body and custom battery setup on LE style stock, (9.6v large battery in an M16 mag) It's upgraded with a Guarder SP120 and shoots about 390 at last chrono. this is in very good visual condition and fires great. I can substitute a crane stock of you choose, but have no battery for the crane stock. Battery is a deans connection and i will include a adaptor to charge this battery with your current charger.
comes with gun, rear sight, battery and 4 midcap HK416 mag brand magazines. includes 3 rail covers in your choice of ACU painted or black. if it sells cash in hand before the end of this weekend I will throw in a soft carry bag for free and a high cap magazine. this is a complete AEG package.

G&G metal body. $40 pic soon
painted over in flat black (now blank, no trademarks), looks new, includes selector switch.

General Airsoft Discussion / AA Opening Splash...
« on: March 28, 2006, 09:28:45 AM »
Aight guys, we are now in 2006 and we still have the same opening graphic on the front page since I joined like 4 years ago. i was looking at it today and I realized that man, we looked ghetto back then. there is so much legit gear out there and we aren't showing our pride for it! we should have a contest or something on who can make the new one for the site. I know I'll get flak for such a lame thread, but hey i'm bored at work so gimmie some credit on that... :) 5 bucks to the winning design if my mug is displayed in it!

AEG's / TM M4A1 Metal Body Upgrades
« on: October 09, 2002, 02:20:03 AM »
I am looking for a metal body upgrade for my Marui M4. I saw two I have been interested in so far. One being the Systema M4A1 metal body and the other the Zeke M4A1. There is a pretty big differance in price (172 for Systema and 280 for Zeke) and I want one that faithfully reproduces the M4A1 Govt model, but would rather not pay the extra hundred unless it is that much better.

Here is the URL for the Systema:
http://www.dentrinityshop.com/pr_list.j ... g=4&rpp=10

URL for the Zeke:
http://www.dentrinityshop.com/pr_list.j ... g=5&rpp=10

Does anyone have either one of these? Please give me your feedback. I plan on ordering it very soon, so let me know quick.

Accessories & Gear / Goggles, Goggles, Goggles!
« on: September 12, 2002, 05:13:04 AM »
I was looking at the Bolle T-800 tactical google for AA use, but cant afford it for a couple weeks (why I already bought a second AEG, I will never know), So for temporary use I bought US Military issue Goggles. Will these work ok for airsoft? I thought it would because of the milsim aspec, but am unsure of the amount of protection. Also Is there a local retailer that has the Bolle T-800's?

AEG's / Metal Body Upgrade for Marui M4A1
« on: September 04, 2002, 10:13:52 AM »
Has anyone done the metal upgrade for the TM M4? I was looking at the Classic Army M4 version 2 metal body. It looks more realistic then the Systema model (systema has light stamping with painted lettering rather then Classic's deep stamp). Is this a hard upgrade? This is my first AEG and I just want realism and quality.

Gas Powered Guns / KWA SigPro M2340 questions and possible problems
« on: August 27, 2002, 01:37:07 AM »
Is anyone familiar with the KWA M2340? I just got it and there are a few thing I need to know. This is also my first GBB and I am alittle lost, other than the basic mechanics due to my experience with Handguns. I noticed that the slide locks back when the mag is empty, But only while inserted! it wont lock back with the slide lock if there is no mag. often the slide jams back, will not go forward unless you nudge it, I think it has something to do with the hammer not going back all the way and it rubbing hard against the bottom of the slide. I have yet to fire a round through it b/c I fear it may malfunction. please, I need some insight!

Gas Powered Guns / Blaze Orange Safety Tips
« on: August 26, 2002, 10:45:39 AM »
Hi,
I'm new to Airsoft and just got in my KWA M2340 GBB. I noticed there was a blaze orange tip when I placed my order. I did research before I bought it and I heard that in order to be shipped, the retailer must make sure it has the orange tip, either painted or permanently affixed. Do I have to keep the tip orange??? Also, if I can remove it, how would I remove the paint with out destroying the finish of the slide (plastic). please give me some help as I am new to this sport and just want all my stuff to look nice.
