Yessir, this does pertain to airsoft and is thusly in the General Airsoft Discussion.

I need a stock and handguards. Going to hollow out the former and sand down the latter to fit onto my ICS AK-74m. Looking to buy for a reasonable price. Know any places?

one Classic Army SLR-105 A1
one plastic ~500rd magazine
one manual

Asking $200 firm.
Gun stalls if trigger is pulled faster than the gun can fire in semi-auto mode. Gave it to a JT guy to look at when I purchased the gun, he said nothing was wrong with it.

three metal ~80rd magazines

Asking $7 each.
Some are a little scratched up. Work great with a little lube.

Can meet at JT Phoenix or Scottsdale, or any airsoft shop in between. I'll try to get to the swapmeet Sunday - will update this post later Saturday with a yes or a no.

PM me or call/text my cell at 602-616-6492

General Airsoft Discussion / Dedicated airsoft teams in Arizona
« on: June 17, 2007, 12:02:21 AM »
I've been wondering.
How many dedicated teams of airsofters are in Arizona? I know of AMSOG, Fatal Exception, and MOSKVASPEZNAZ, but there must be others.
List them here?

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Classic Army SLR-105 A1 (maybe) for sale
« on: March 31, 2007, 06:41:39 PM »
Wondering who would be interested in a package with the following for $280

CA AK-74
CA AK-74 500 rd. mag
8.4v 1900mah battery

I have a CA AK-74 that I haven't exactly been using on a day-to-day basis, bought six months ago. It has light scratches from the few times it's been carried around a battlefield, and three screws are missing; one of a few that hold the stock to the receiver, and the two screws that hold the butt plate to the stock. I've had no problems with this gun.

Any potential buyers?

AEG's / New manufacturer, "the Systema of Chinese weaponry"
« on: February 12, 2007, 09:37:18 PM »
http://www.realsword.com.hk/

This topic originated at Red-Alliance.net. Real Sword Company is a new airsoft manufacturer that is designing their replicas 1) based on Chinese weaponry and 2) to the exact dimensions of said weapons. Their gearboxes are designed to fit the replica's shell, not the other way around. The replicas are also full-metal, and real wood is used wherever applicable.

General Off-Topic Discussion / Call of Duty 3

- (Xbox 360) Seems to be a tad over-exaggerated. Effects such as blur and heat waves are a cool add-on, but the lighting is too prominent and a lot of the graphics are far too glossy and shiny. Also, Treyarch seems to like hiring bad voice actors. Haven't had the chance for online play yet. What do you guys think?

Accessories & Gear / Full gear/setup Photos
« on: October 29, 2006, 12:16:34 AM »
- I've been browsing a few airsoft and mil-sim forums, and noticed something I think the AA forums lacked; a thread specifically made for the purpose of sharing photos of you in your gear. Most notable to me was this one. I don't have any gear to show off except a BDU, so I can't start this thing off.

General Off-Topic Discussion / Flags of Our Fathers

- Epic. The trailer is somewhat misleading. To put it bluntly, if you want action, this movie dishes out more than you might first expect. If you want emotion, this movie is a goldmine. The film recounts the tragic story of the five US Marines who were photographed raising the American flag atop Mt. Suribachi on the island of Iwo Jima during the Pacific campaign of WWII.

My RATING: 7 out of 5.

General Off-Topic Discussion / Another question from an iPod newb
« on: October 16, 2006, 12:24:59 AM »
- My family was generous enough to scrape together some money and bestow upon me the new iPod Nano, two-gig. Just a couple questions. Any way to make my own playlists besides the "on-the-go" playlist? And will the iPod's alarm clock work even if I shut it off, or do I have to leave it on standby?

General Off-Topic Discussion / the Departed
« on: October 14, 2006, 01:12:21 AM »

- I just returned from the theater. You know, the cast of characters seemed pretty soft, and even though I'd seen other Scorsese films--which I absolutely loved--I didn't expect the Departed to slap me in the face as many times as it did. There wasn't a single minute of this movie I didn't enjoy.
- I suggest you get a seat ASAP if you haven't already.

- So you want a song on your MySpace profile that the artist who wrote the song doesn't have on his profile. Assuming you have the sound file somewhere on your computer, and that you have Mozilla Firefox, you can do the following;

1) make an account at www.PutFile.com
2) upload the sound file (it will take some time)
3) view the page with your file on it
4) right click, select "view page source"
5) press ctrl+f and search for "embed"
6) copy all the information between "<embed>" and "</embed>" to any place you want in your MySpace profile

The code should look like this, except for the URL. Also, if you want to paste it into your interests, music, heroes, or someplace like that, change "width" to "300," or else you'll have a table bigger than all the other ones.

- There's lots of ways to get your own songs on your profile, but I prefer this one.

General Off-Topic Discussion / Jackass: part two
« on: September 24, 2006, 10:53:37 PM »
- I was never a fan of Jackass, and I just went to the movies for the sake of going out with some friend, but man... I cried for the first ten minutes. The funniest short skit involved flying out of the ground in a devil costume.

In the name of fun, rating = 9 out of 10
In the name of film making, rating = 4 out of 10

- After the movie everyone was silent. Nobody wanted to talk about it.

- I know the basics--but how do you qualify for a motorcycle or other stuff, like a scooter, etc. How old do you have to be? Where can I get information on the rules of the road for motorcyclers, etc?

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Ideal skirmish areas in Arizona
« on: September 17, 2006, 01:23:53 AM »
- I think a sticky should be made with a listing of places people personally know/have been to/played at and found them to be be close if not ideal for skirmishes; places worth driving up to with two pick-ups full of people, places at most two hours away.

(just something I wanna know: anyone heard of Bloody Basin Road? I believe it's a minor dirt road stretching between the Carefree Highway and I-17 northbound. I rode on it when my dad took a joke "shortcut" coming back from Sedona to Phoenix when I was, like, five, and remember that the land around it was basically barren or completely covered in forest. Are there good areas around there for skirmishes?)
