It is said that on the eve of battle, Dienekes was told that the Persian archers were so numerous that, when they fired their volleys, the mass of arrows blocked out the sun.  \"Good,\" Dienekes laughed, \"then we\'ll have our battle in the shade.\"

says i'm yoda.

Han Solo was always the coolest.  See, i'm part of the generation that was raised on star wars movies, toys, books and games.  doesn't matter if episode IV was released 16 years before my generation was born.  we know Star Wars by heart.

More importantly.... which of all the movies (excluding episode III) do you all think was the best?

I say VI.

I have always been a fan of the imperial royal guard, I know they were failures when it came to protecting the emporer in ROTJ but they do look damn cool just chillin in the corner ready to "open a can" when the ocasion calls for it. Hope to see them get some respect in this one.

The thing also said I was yoda. That stinks, I hate yoda almost as much as Jar-jar (inferior alien species!). If they put that freak Jar-jar in this next movie, I'm never going to see it.

Anyways, I think I'm going to have to say my favorite character was the "Storm Trooper".

Yes, you may say, "but the storm trooper isn't a real character." I disagree. The storm trooper (though he be a mindless pawn of the Empire or whatever) has a big gun and a really cool helmet.

He doesn't even care if he knows he's just an insignificant part of the whole movie, he just does his job until he gets sliced in half, blown up, or shot.

And that is why the storm trooper is better than any other character.

My favorite character from the original trilogy would probably have to be Darth Vader.

If you include the expanded universe (comics, books, etc.) I would have to say Mara Jade.

Just got back from the movie, it was fuckin great, I have always loved the Star Wars series and this just increased my love for the films.  If you have a chance to go see it please do, you will not regret it.
It puts a good ending tie up to the whole story and doesn't leave ya hanging.

As for the test, well I got Emperor Palpatine
