Local Games Listing/RSVP / A GAME CLOSE TO STRAWBERRY
« on: November 13, 2006, 12:20:20 AM »
hello all my name is james, i just want to put out a late and last minute word, about my game this month. it takes place near strawberry off the 87 highway. we will camp on the 17th and play through the 18th(sat).
map below

basically take the i-17 to the campe verde exit-260

then take the 260 through campe verde to the 87

take the 87 north 1.2 miles there will be a dirt/paved road on the right, turn in through there and go through the gate.

proceed through the gate and take evrey right at the road forks
and you will arrive here shown below..

the place is definately worthy of the drive and it's about 15 minutes away from the town strawberry.

there are a few player prefrences we do require
please age of 18 and older only
must have own equipment including aeg, gear, eye protection, ammo ect.
must bring your own food and tents (if camping)
sleeping bags and lots of warm clothes, cuz its frickin cold!
other than that, just come up and kick ass with us!

keep in mind that as of now i have about ten to twelve freinds of mine going up, so i need some more bodies up there in order to do the scenarios. but if i don't get enough replies(last min planning) on this post i'll push the date to the 1st and 2nd of december. so pm me if you are interested in attending.

thanks,
james

i had the same exact problem with my m-4 when i put a sytema 120 in it. tried everything incuding stonger batteries and torque gears, but when i replaced the motor, it fixed the problem completely... for now
you've put a lot of round through that motor, i wouldn't doubt that its torque has decreased, check and clean the contacts on your motor too

The whole point to playing airsoft is to roleplay. If you wanna be a tard and run around dressed like a mullet wearing bum and think your cool doing so then fine, be my guest. Find a group of equally silly people and start your own thing.
95% of real airballers play for the milsim aspect, period, end of discussion. Id make jokes and shoot you as much as possible for dressing/acting stupid on purpose during an AA or any organized local airsoft game. We all have our own styles and types of tactics as teams but, we have the same goals: to own cool replica guns, shoot them at people and MILSIM.

so this isnt "frowning" ? i mean come on this quote isn't very inviting

no that was an extra 90, i like it because the other lamps i looked at were way too long, this one keeps it compact, and lightweight

good point, i dont think that its actually forced. i beleive that what he meant was, would people look frown on a person that is not milsim? more of a question rather than an accusation.(trying to see what yall felt about non-milsim players)

I agree, this is all about semantics at this point. Who's "real", who's genuine... That's all BS. If the guy is good, he's good, he rightly deserves props because he can score kills. What he dresses as, any discussion about whether or not he's a "real" airsoft player when he plays the damn game with an airsoft gun to begin with is just elitest garbage.

definately! if you can kick ass on the feild, regardless of what you wear or what style you have, that is what makes you a good airsoft player.(maybe not a good milsim) i think you guys are getting confused between a good
"aisoft player" and a good "milsim" two completely diff things playing the same game.
