I've been having fogging issues with my ESS profiles so I got some M Frames and super anti-fog from Safety USA.

So I did the standard test and shot them 6in away from the muzzle with a S110+ 6.04 G36e. Both rounds fired left dimples on the lenses which are visible from both sides. Did the same test with my ESS and not even a mark.

I searched and saw this isn't normal.

I'm not sure what this little part is called but this is the story.

I noticed the selector was acting weird but nothing major(not getting power). It still worked so I left it alone. I would have to put it alittle past the click to work right. I believe this is the cause.

So I put some upgrades into it(S110, Poly piston, new shims, new piston head, bearing guide). When I put it back together it would lock. So I tried the battery and nothing. I thought it was the battery so I got a new one from the gearbox which pulls my P90 no problem so its not the battery. Frustrated I reshimmed it thinking it must be too tight in which I did a better job but still way in the clear on shimming.  Everything lined up and I closed it and tried again with nothing, still locking. This is when I noticed the little metal copper pin was bending down while the other was up. This is about the 10th time I had bent it back up since it kept falling too far and it snapped. Apparently it was only barely attached, this is the copper contact from the wire on the top.

I'm 100% sure its not a shimming problem. They spin and clear everything without grinding or freely spinning.


My question is that is this the cause of my problems? Was my motor just not getting enough power or is the motor garbage? Also can someone tell me where I can find a replacement contact, I imagine this is just a common contact found at Ace Hardware.

Opps forgot the gun, CA g36. If so Im just going with my original plan and getting a JG G36c and jacking the lower+box. And do a complete rebuild on this one.

I don't know why I bought this thing but I have no use for it. I still can't stand  M4s and this is no different.

To my knowledge its a Gen2 A&K M4 CQBR. Its brand new still with ZERO field use. Its maybe fired 120 rounds to test it and comes with a battery, charger and hicap-which I have never used-. I got it off Pointact so it has some rust on the exposed metal. Also has a never covered orange metal flashhinder. Front sight pins have some marks from me trying to get it off but  nothing major. It *may* have a built in tightbore but I don't know. The RIS unit is metal as well as the barrel with 2 rail covers, one sucks but the other is good.

Bought it new for $120 which it retails for. Ill put it up for $90. No shipping cash only.

I will only consider trading for a G36 series gun including the JG G36c but no BE.

2 different questions. I was looking at the ESS Profile NVD when I saw the Gentex EPS-21s. Does anyone know anything about the Gentex? This is the first time I've seen them and most sites don't seem to carry them. And how do they compare to NVDs? I know both are pricy but I'm not willing to risk my eye-sight because I cheaped out.

Also is their anyway to cover or cap the P90 red dot? I can't use it because of  my goggles and I don't like glasses. I don't bring it to big games nor plan to because of that.

I thought you guys might want to know the Police are now patrolling Arizona Trust Lands and enforcing the Arizona Land Trust Permit and have changed the law a little. Some areas of the desert have been completly shutdown to the public. So far I know that Surprise and Peoria have closed or have restricted areas for off-roading. We got citied(not fined) for riding infront of Canyon Raceway for not having a permit.

For instance you can't take a vehicle off a paved road into the desert unless you turn onto a dirt road first. And you can not operate an off-road vehicle unless it's a 1/4 mile or so away from a paved road or building. Paintballing is also banned from all trust land.

It sucks because even with it they can still kick you off for no reason. This is just a warning to anything off-roading or paintballing/airsofting in the desert.
