Well, it only holds 3 mags. I was thinking.. I'll have one star mag, one hicap and.. gettin Mikeys standard, I needed a 3x mag pouch. So, I made one.. and now to make another..

Retention straps are already on the way, that was my first idea.

And webbing is a go! I can always add pistol mag pouches.. theres like 4 laying around here. A 2x, a 3x, another 2x, and 1 1x.. but, only the 3x is MC!

That's badass that you're taking the initiative to learn how to make pouches yourself.  Well, I'll come to you when I want a pouch made ( cause I'm cheap, and currently, BROKE!)

Are there any resources online for this kind of thing? I googled pouchmaking and nothin' came up. I'm not very good with a sewing machine, or even sewing in general...how good do you have to be to do this?

You just DO it...you need an industiral sewing machine though, it isn't worth it unless you need custom stuff, ends up costing too much.

I'm saving for a Sailrite LS, but for now.. my moms machine punched through 3-4 layers of webbing, 5 layers of DCC, and some binding tape no problemo.. I'll be g2g for a bit. Cept for NO RIGHT WEBBING.. but mores on the way.

And thanks Dave.

Vince, I was looking around on the "Roll your own thread", and I asked Tim, and Diz, and they said it's as easy as pie. So, I cranked out the machine and started playin around that day (2 weeks ago?) but I had to wait to make my own from scratch till' I got my stuff in.

Nice work, yet again!  Sucky?  Well, if it holds a mag and won't fll off it's doing it's job!  The fact that it's MC doesn't hurt.
