Don't ask, Drake. It's mainly because I'm a X-Box lover, and the fact that Sony didn't make the PS2 as good as it could have been. It's less a personal strike than me just not liking the PS2...

I'm still doing a personal strike on buying a PS2, but I do wish they would port it to X-Box or PC.

Even though it doesn't play any games other than its own, if he has one anyway, he should invest in Shenmue and Crazy Taxi, if he's going to keep it. You could probably find both on eBay.

Hey! You're talking about (BSA, that is) some of the most honored youth adventurers (don't know if that's the right name), but I'm in them, so you can shut yer trap .

You say that you had “goodâ€￾ intentions. Well, let me tell you something: Good intentions often lead to the worst results. For example (I don't know if it's still on the forums), I once posted a pretty confrontational message to The Eradicator. Sure, I had good intentions, but it was a stupid, arrogant, and selfish thing to do. Not to say that's what your little “essayâ€￾ is, but a Chicago-based topic need not be brought to Arizona, even to open it up for discussion. I read through the first paragraph wondering, why is this being brought up here? Then, with all of the spelling/grammar mistakes, I just cut right to the replies. A little advice: if you are going to even bring something that doesn't belong on a forum, spell check it first.

Also, most people here are already on the ASP forums, and are current on them. So, it just pisses us off to read through something two times, at different forums. It's almost as bad as posting the same message in two different sections on the same forum. You also brought it up completely out of the blue. The line: "Now lets talk about the concept of equal rights and far sportsmanship," assumes we know why you are posting this.

So, to sum up what I'm saying thus far:

1- completely unrelated to AZ, and these forums
2- bad spelling and grammar
3- posted already on a more popular forum
4- not well thought-out, nor well-written

To continue, you are talking about the first-amendment and such as if you are a lawyer devoting his life to lecturing and defending that right. As Paco said, forums are a private place, being moderated as a private place. You are also insinuating that this forum is biased and unfair, which would most likely be infuriating for those who spend hours a week/day moderating it. From your profile, you are a Firefighter/EMT. That tells me you likely have no training in the profession of law and the related.

Now, during the writing of this post, I attempted to read your post again to gain more insight on the topic. I stopped half-way through because the grammar and spelling made me cringe.

So, there's the end of my little rant. I hope you can read this, because, I, for one, wrote it in Word, spell checked it, and went over the grammar several times.

In response to your latest post:

“My post was not to get anyone pissed off!â€￾

The first few sentences in my post address this.

“It was to get others to open up and say what they thing about the subjet matter.â€￾

First, spelling. Second, cheating and un-sportsmanlike con(accidentally). Hurt like crazy but cuz it was the thumb, nothing bled.

I've had really nasty bruises before from being shot at 4 feet, but never a blood bubble.

Actually, from I've read, the US never signed the thing for the Geneva Convention, they only semi-agreed to abide by its rules. Which means, if we wanted to have better armament for soldiers (and maybe politically piss some foreigners off), we could issue it, but the US military doesn't want to start losing friendships. However, we still wouldn't be breaking any international law.

Yankee is either in NJ or NY right now, but I do know how it turned out. He traded it for a used (with foam-lined gearbox) AUG Military with 2 extra standard mags. He never bought a rig for it, and never shot it. How do I know this, you ask? I just bought the AUG from him .

Yeah, I was thinking for CQB, like at the Ranch, and my main concern was accidentally flashing someone in the eyes and doing damage. Thanks for the advice.

Alot of the P90's gearbox parts come from different versions. I believe that the piston comes from a v2 gearbox. Don't quote me on that though.

Actually, Paco, v6 is the Thompson/P90 gearbox. I would recommend the v6 because it's all one thing, and that makes it alot easier to adapt it, because you won't have to fit the grip with a motor.

Like Harley said, definetely (sp?) check the motor connections. That's what it was on my P90, and I took the gearbox apart (foolishly), and lost a couple of parts, which are supposed to be on their way from The Q Project, but they aren't... Anyways, point is, don't open your gearbox until you are absolutely sure it's not something else, like check the contact of the selector plates, and check the fuse, check to make sure the motor isn't fried, etc. Be like me (drug and) gearbox foolishness free.

Welcome to AA.

Well, I haven't used a pistol as a primary in a game, but Wolf has. It wasn't even a gas, it was a TM MK23 spring. Even then he got a few kills, so, yes, if you are good/experienced enough (with your pistol), then I'd say it'd work as a temporary primary.

Well, my friends and I see a problem with upgrading right off the bat. One, you tend to lose appreciation of stealth, and other skills needed to get in closer for the "stock" kill. Two, you could be putting yourself in a world of hurt because you don't have a back-up, stock weapon. So, if your upgraded gun breaks down, you're stuck. Also, I wouldn't say it's more efficient because:

1) You pay for labor costs when you get a proffesional installation.
2) You don't get experience taking down your gearbox/gun.
3) Because you don't get experience taking it down and repairing/lubing/cleaning it, if it breaks down, you won't know how to fix it, and no one wants to send a gun all the way across the country, or, even to HK, to get it fixed.

In summary, yes, you can use it as a temporary back-up. No, it wouldn't really be any more effecient to get an upgraded gun without doing it yourself, especially if you only have a gas pistol. It wouldn't be fun playing with that as your only gun, especially if you had a choice in the steps leading to it. Sorry if some of this sounds like babble, but I'm pretty tired right now.

I agree Riggs. I would pay that type of price (definately!), but the new AA rules prevent me from doing that. See, as someone under 18, I can't just wear something like that. I do know that they are better than paintball goggles, but I have to wear a full face mask. Alas, those wonderful things such as my eyes won't recieve the protection they deserve...

I don't mean to bash the rules or anything, it's just that you guys are saying how you want your eyes to get the utmost protection, but I can't. It's kinda like getting either and excellent gun, or an average gun with some accessories (in this case the full face protection).

Bye.

Well, you'd probably find useless messages from people with their heads asleep on their keyboards.
