Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Tokyo Mauri P8 gas pistol (2 mags)
« on: January 19, 2011, 10:11:31 AM »
Its a pretty hefty gun, got full metal internals, plactic grip and slide, but it's non blow back, which also means it packs a punch. Shoots around 380 with .2's so its a good backup in a field game. Pretty accurate up to about 75 to 100 feet. And i have 2 double stack mags for it.
There's just two things.
-The little wings that normally serve as the mag release snapped off, but the release still functions, you just gotta pull on the edge of it.
-The safety doesnt work, but who uses a safety?

It's a solid gun that still shoots very well, and I was hoping to get aroun $60 for it, so pm me with your email for pictures if you're interested.

Local Games Listing/RSVP / Free Airsoft match FRIDAY APRIL 2ND
« on: March 30, 2010, 03:17:46 PM »
RE-SCHEDULED TO THE NEXT MORNING
This FRIDAY MORNING there will be an Airsoft match for anyone who would like to attend (must be 16 or older). We are meeting at RECKER AND THOMAS at 0800 . Walk-ons are allowed, this is a match that will be hosted by our Group we have started called ASFAO. We will be looking for members to join the group, and please note it is a low level group, nothing fancy, we're going to get patches, we play for fun, not to make a statement that we're better than anyone else. We're going to be playing until around noon or until the heat gets to us. This is NOT a mil-sim or anything in particular, just friends getting together to have some good hearted fun.

SAFETY
the usual, eye protection, chest rigs are strongly suggested (not to protect but to make things easier) boots, gloves, WATER

For people we decide to let into ASFAO, we will provide a patch once they are made, and water will be provided (its provided anyway if you really need it) and we reserve the right to decline peoples' request to join and also to kick anyone out of the group we feel has a negative influence to the other players.

The Jist Of It
Recker and Thomas
Be there at 0800
Eye protection is required
Bring Water
Bring Friends!
Have fun yourself and everyone else will too.
Hope to see some of you there!

SORRY FOR THE SCHEDULE CHANGE! HOPE TO STILL SEE YOU WHO RSVP'D THERE! Moving it to the morning will allow for another group and a few other people to come

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / JG G36K FOR SALE
« on: March 28, 2010, 10:40:16 PM »
I originally bought this gun for CQ, and it delivered. When it is in ship shape it sends quite the sum of bb's down range. It makes a beast of a close support weapon and is accurate for it's FPS.

Pros
It shoots around 17-19 rounds per second.
Comes with standard 350 round magazine (which i beleive has a feeding problem) and a 2,500 drum mag (battery opperated, already has batteries in it!) which normally runs GREAT! It feeds the bb's as fast as you can shoot them and the batteries last a long time.
Side folding stock.
Plenty of upgrades out there!
Very comfortable to hold and shoot (easy and semi short trigger pull)
Shoots 320 fps last i checked with .20's ( perfect for the new Vanguard CQB place oppening this summer!)
The trigger response is fantastic!

Cons
The wire for the drum mag is toast (I stepped on it while picking up the mag, then the wire snapped) but I have seen them on E-bay.
No flash hider, but you may have one.
As you can see the scope/carry handle system is incomplete, but the scope does work, not light up but it has crosshairs and windage as well as gravity marks.
There is a problem where the bb's mash into the barrel and jam but the air nozzle is metal, its not that, and the inside of the barrel is clean, so i think its a magazine problem.
It has had three paint jobs, first one tan, second the paint dried a weird blue-grey color, so i painted it black.

If you want a great close support gun to fiddle with and have fun with and shoot ur pal 17 times in one second and not make him bleed, just have 17 welts, this is it.

Local Games Listing/RSVP / Game at C1 Tuesday October 13th
« on: October 04, 2009, 04:57:35 PM »
This is not a major milsim game, just whoever would like to get in some shooting or even some field testing, there will be a game on the 13th at the Covert one field at 08:00am to whenever everybody is too tired. There is no RSVP nor fee's required. Water WILL be provided but bring YOUR OWN SNACKS AND AMMO!!! Neither of these will be provided. There are no FPS restrictions as long as the gun doesn't have more than 425 FPS for AEG's. Other than that everything is fair game. DO NOT call other peoples' shots. If you shoot them and they want to keep getting shot that's their choice. Dummy grenades and other bb launchers ARE allowed. WARNING- a handfull of bb's is not a grenade. We will meet in the desert area just outside the parking lot.

Depending on how people go will decide what games we play or the general consensus of the attended. For people new to the field is is recommended that you wear boots that are study. FACE PROTECTION IS REQUIRED. Knee pads and maybe even elbow pads are entirely up to you, there is a large amount of concrete rubble is some places. Chest rigs are also highly recommended to all. Teams will be determined by armbands, seeing how most people only have one kind of camo or none or want to wear a certain kind, so, if you have a red bandanna or rags please bring it and any spares you might have.

There are no magazine capacity restrictions so bring 'em all! Personally i prefer my 2,500 round drum mag but its up to you guys!

If you and friends can go please post or p.m. so! A head count would be nice! (for the purpose of knowing how much water to bring) If not you may miss out on cold delicious FREE water.

Walk-Ons ARE ALLOWED just be aware of the above statement.

Anyway hope to see some of you out there!

If further details on when and where are need please p.m. me.

Site Suggestions / New Team Threads
« on: September 25, 2009, 11:14:56 PM »
I don't know if I'm having a blonde moment or what but I think it would be cool to have a forum where people who are trying to start an Airsoft group can advertise their group to help pull people into their group. I'm currently trying to start a group but I'm not quite sure where to post such a thread without Upsetting the delecate nature of the AA forums.
Thank You!

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Replica Helmet and Knight's Armament Front Grip
« on: September 22, 2009, 04:41:53 PM »
I have a Replica PASGT helmet. The inside is lined with foam for protection, then a layer of much lighter thinner foam for comfort. it has a flexible chin strap that buckles and is adjustable in case you have a big or tiny head (or medium). The outside is very solid plastic with a matte black finish. There is a fair amount of scratches but with some craft paint it's back to normal. There are also thick leather pads that protect your ears but you can still hear just as well and TRUST me its nice knowing your ears will not get shot. You can put goggles around the helmet and they still fit to your face snuggly on the front side. I'm asking $25 for this helmet.

The front grip is very durable, you can look up my post on it if you like. It's made out of ABS and has a "KA" logo on one side. the bottom twists to tighten it. it fits snuggly in all the rails I've put it on due to the design of the rail mount. There are no cracks or chips on it. I'm asking $15 for this grip.

PM me for a link to pictures

Thanks!!!

Accessories & Gear / Knight's Armament Front Grip
« on: September 21, 2009, 03:21:11 PM »
I bought this grip at Vanguard Paintball and I've heard a fair amount of info about it. Well, to start off with, I heard it was cheaply made. It IS cheaply made, but very firmly. The bottom untwists and it slides onto the rail. It has a hole towards what would be the top of the grip so you can put the part that holds the grip to the rail in the propper spot. It's made out of nice ABS plastic and I didn't see cracks on it nor have I. I know this part is sturdy because my pal put it one his UTG M234 Sniper for who knows what reason and you can hold the gun with a scope on it by the grip alone. This grip is cheaper than most like the flashy ones for Scars and such but if you just want a grip that serves that purpose exatly (a grip on your gun) then this is a cheap and easy way to go.

For those of you who know this account to be a dork who is annoying, i appologize. I left to live with my dad in idaho for the better part of a year just after making this account and come back to find my brother Norman screwed the whole thing up. So, I'm sorry for anyone who was either insulted or pissed at this username! Hopefully I can be at better terms with all of you than he was.

i recntly bought this off of ASGI and i have to say it purs like a kitty. it shoots fairly fast at 15 to 19 rps (watch out it chugs bb's with a 9.6) so buy some more mags if you buy it. its not incredibly accurate so i'd suggest a precision barrel. no wobbles, great range (with some hop-up of course, which is needed for most field guns). make sure you season the mags (pm me if you dunno what that means). along with the nice top mounted scope/ accessory mount, the top of the inset scope has sights if you want to temporarily use those instead of the scope. on the subject of fps, its 360 out of the box, not too strong so you can get into statewide with no trouble    its just with .25's it has around 300-320.

overall i'd say buy it. with 60 more bucks you got a butt spanking gun.

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / M1A1 Thompson
« on: February 23, 2009, 06:26:49 PM »
ok so i've had it for a year, it still shoots like it did the very first day i got it
the mag that it came with has never fed wrong (50 rd mag)
the mag i bought (450 rd) feeds very well, you just gotta wind it about every 250 rounds
its full metal accept for the stock handle and hand hold
trigger responds fairly well
fps is decent, 420 with .12
390 with .2
i have the original sling, it has metal loops and they are very sturdy
gun is very sturdy (the only acception is that the handle wobbles a bit)
the mags do not wobble AT ALL
the stock is sturdy
the adjustable iron sights don't wobble, they're very easy to sight in
the only thing is the rate of fire, its like 12 rounds per second on a full batter so i recommend a bigger battery
(there's planty of space for 8.4 volts)
overall great gun
