AMSOG - OPERATION DOG SKULL 09022006

United Coalition For Peace (Tan) vs Rogue Nationalist Party (Green)

Scenario 1

A failed assassination attempt of president Napo by the Rogue Nationalist Party has caused a civil war between the people of Arizonia. President Napo has asked the United Collation For Peace to provide police actions to suppress the terrorist activities of the Rogue Party.

Just two days ago Coalition Troops were able to seize a stolen Russian Nuclear Warhead from the Rogue Party that was intended to eliminate Arizonias Presidential Party and all those who oppose the Rogue Nationalist Party.

Today at approximately 0630 hours a Coalition C-130 was mysteriously downed somewhere over Rogue Nationalist controlled territory. Coalition Peace Keepers must locate any surviving crew and the aircrafts Black-Box in hopes to provide some intelligence as to the aircrafts sudden demise. While the Rogue Troops are unaware of what specific cargo the C-130 was transporting they look to seize any crew and cargo that remain in hopes of finding information to the whereabouts of the Coalition Field Base and more importantly the location of their stolen nuke.

Scenario 2 is dependent on the outcome of scenario 1, both scenarios will be timed 2 hours halves.

Time: 0700 - 1300
Place: Missile Tank, Tucson Arizona Exit 281

This will be the first AMSOG Hosted Event.

Sorry, the minimum age with parental consent is 16 for this one.   :cry:

I know the minimum age is 16 with parental consent but I was wondering if I could play if my dad played alongside me? I'm 15 and 6 months at the time of the op. I would like to know for future reference becuase we probably won't be able to make it to Tuscon this time.

you can get in with a 2 Wd but its kinda hard only for the last maybe 100 yards so you could walk and park up higher. if you didnt want to drive.

The road there (old sonoita highway) is freshly paved.  once you get to the turn off, it turns to gravel, and is negotiable for another 1/2 mile.  You may want to park down near the old silo area then walk the 200 yards to the muster point.

I was under the impression that the age limit for this game was 16?  I was also operating under the impression that it was not an official AA game, and therefore parental permission and sponsor were not neccessary.  Does AMSOG require some form of parental permission? Is it available on your website?

Directions to Missle Tank:

Take I-10 South.  As I-10 passes Tucson, it bends to the East.  Follow I-10 (now East) approximately 20 miles east (guess) to EXIT 281.    This is Highway 83 South to Sonoita.  As soon as you get off the highway, there is a road 1/8 mile south called "Old Sonoita Highway", which heads East.  It is paved.  Follow it 4 miles.  We will mark the enterence with cones or something for everyone to see.  It will be on your right side.  Here is a thread from TAC that has pictures.  It is the TOP picture, with the square area outlined.  This is where we will park and walk the 1/4 mile to the A)

Hmm... damn.  Hopefully my new job will give up another Saturday for me... or actually, both jobs.  They were cool about last Saturday for Hard Bean III, but i'm sure they would like to me work some Saturdays.  I'll see what i can arrange... talk to them a little bit.  I'm gonna have the following weekend (9/7-9/9) off to attend my father's retirement ceremony in Tucson.  So, i dunno.  

There is a chance that i may not be able to make it to this game... but i will try to go.

Immediately after you come off the highway at Exit 281,Hwy83- Sonoita, there is a small turn off/parking area on the right.  Chainsaw and I will be meeting people there.  We can send groups of cars with people who know the way (about 4 miles from there) to MT, so if any of you Tucson guys can, please stop by and let some people follow you.  We will be making one trip at the end for stragglers.

Well we are shooting for guns up at 0730, 0745 so I would say no latter than 0700 then we can do the briefing at 0715ish 0720. I am asking Far to leave the meet and greet no later than 0710.

Had an awesone time, also since its the first event I've been to in years where I was using my own gun, was able to test out my flecktarn, and use my new helmet :)

I did get a little bit too much sun and feel like crap right now...but it was worth it.  Great to play with the Phoenix AMSOG and AA members.  Thanks for making the drive.

Id like to say thanks to tan team 2 for putting up with me on comms today during the game. i had to listen to you and amsog on the radio all day so sorry for not hearing you all when you called up.  :D I had a blast fighting with all of you and i hope the guy who got a face full of the saw is doing well he was a trooper.

Were Krash and the rest there too?  I wish you would have come up to me....I don't know what you guys look like or that you were even there. :?

We tried to set it up so Green would find the pilot....he had a picture of the actual nuke so it wouldn't be confused with the SAM rockets.  Tan's sniper team stumbled on him first as they were shadowing the main Tan column.

 We also placed the nuke closer to the Green base, but it wasn't found.  We may end up placing a strobe beacon near it next time... :?

Really?  Same thing with the black box, someone was trying to flank a Green sniper when he took cover in a ravine and bam, there it was.

No krash was'nt there he was in Cali. Smoothcat and I were the only two from our group that showed up. I met you (farslayer) there I was the one in woodland camo. Hope to possibly see Amsog at our next op. Good game again.

I have got to say, probably the best op I have been on ever with airsoft. I was the guy with all the head camo and the ak. I eventually assumed command of the green team and split everyone up in three groups. I hope everyone on the green side enjoyed how I took charge and if anyone has any feedback on how I ran things, I would appreciate it. My main goal was that everyone on the green team was involved and had fun. Anyway...where are all the photos of the op? I would really like to see them..Thanks
