Wouldn't this have more to do with the speed of sound than the aircraft slowing down? Perhaps you were just illustrating a <i>related</i> point.

If you are speaking of the 105mm, I think this has to do with the aircraft having a specially-designed pneu-draulic recoil system. I have seen footage of the 105 being fired from inside the a/c, and it DOES travel quite a bit back into the fuselage. Add to that the mass of the 130, and I doubt it's felt that much.
