Ivan, we had the same experience on Bravo with comms. Hell, Jed and I found the scientists 20 minutes before the first evolution started and could not get instruction via radio so we let the them go and held up in the SCC building and turned it into murder trap. We took down close to a half a platoon of Alpha and a whole squad of PMC. We caused so much confusion, that Alpha was killing each other, no where near the battle. Vehicles were near as abundant as you would think either. I spent all weekend hoofin it.
At LCXI we sat in buildings and kkilled the same platoon over and over. This year we were on the assault. Another difference, the last 3 years when I went to rally troops to attack with me, they looked at me with their mouths open. This year, they charged with me. Saturday afternoon I put elements from 3 different platoons together and assaulted the flank we went from the far west of the AO, all the way across to the Alpha FOB in the east. A wide front steam roller. The end of Sunday was nearly the same. Kiley called in the final objective, that was being held by 5 or 6 Hawks. 4th platoon lead elements from the entire company to hammer Alpha. There were over 100 of us verses 20 or so.
All in all Bravo did to Alpha this year what normally happens in reverse.
