Sweet! is it state land :?:

If it is, welcome to a criminal tresspass charge!!! ($150 fine as well)

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES NOT ALLOWED ON STATE LANDS UNDER ANY PERMIT:

•  Target shooting, paint ball games, fireworks

•  Non-recreational or extended camping

•  Recreational flying

•  Tours of prehistoric and historic cultural or archaeological sites

•  Metal detecting to search for artifacts, relics and treasures

•  Collecting or removing natural products (rocks, stone, soil, fossils, mineral specimens, cacti, saguaro or cholla skeletons, plants (live or dead), or firewood for home use

Closure of State lands to specific recreational activities, on a temporary or permanent basis, may include the following reasons:

•           Sensitive or protected archaeological or ecological areas

•           Environmental issues, i.e. trespass or mitigation activities, environmental contamination/hazards, dust abatement, etc.

•           In coordination with Arizona Game and Fish Department

•           Commercial development, mining, agricultural or timber harvesting activities

•           Lands leased to State Parks (separate permit system through State Parks)

•           Health, safety and welfare of the public

•           State Forester declaration of extreme fire danger or fire restrictions

During periods of high fire danger, the State Forester may prohibit fire causing activities, such as open burning, camp and cooking fires, and/or smoking to prevent wildfires. Under severe fire danger the State lands may be closed to all recreational activities.

You can only play on BLM or Private land (with permission) and even then the zoning has to allow it (I think it has to be zoned GR, which allows recreational clubs).  Go to the pima county website (GIS server) you can look up the exact area and know who owns it.  Its free and fast with a cable connection.

Here's the link for the site:

http://www.dot.co.pima.az.us/gis/maps/mapguide/

Use "Main MapGuide Map"

On the left side, find "Land Ownership" and it color codes the map for who owns the land you are interested in.

I will make sure I wear woodlands or tigertripes, as I doubt that Desert camo is gonna work too well in that green stuff.

FLASH
It won't really matter much, someone is going to spot a body moving or making noise before camo..The only advantage would be a ghillie skin in the grass with the vegatation from around it.. ;)

That's what would worry me. Busta and Einstein are gonna have a hayday here, I can see it now.

It would be cool to play there...but desert tiger stripe, and just desert in general will stick out like a hot chick at a sausage fest...maybe Mill Cammies vs Jungle Tiger Stripe??  or something like that??

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

Good news, so far it's not in city limits and not on state land and there isn't any no-tresspassing signs. I going to continue to find out more about it. Tell you guys more later.

I still think its the poopie wash that runs between Silver****, I-**, Orange*****, and I**.  (ifyouknowwhatimean)  :?

Why are you so concerned about these water systems?
On various occasions Ive actually had to wade and even at times almost swim across the santa cruz and silverbell. Me and two other people spent at least two hours getting someones stuck car out of the santa cruz and if it were that bad, then I wouldnt have gone in them in the first place. :)

Besides, its not like we are actually going to go into the water. ;)

Do you rememder at the last big Tucson airsoft OP, we actualy had to hold our equiptment over our heads and wade across about 100 yards of 3ft deep muddy water. Everyone was trying to cross it with their vehicles but me. Needless to say, I was the only one that day who was able to turn around and go the long way into sasco. (To pull out someones car from the other side of the river)
