Would you like some flowers and a skirt with that statement?

Nah, its cool, I'm pretty gay too, I cook. Well.

I don't know cooking and homosexuality have any correlation, cooking was my job when I had one.

And while I've made my fair share of zingers and I can see the "lol point proven!~~~~11" a mile away, honestly, there's many things gayer than being able to cook well. Girls/women like being cooked for, man. Cultivate that skill and not only will you get that benefit, but the people you will meet in your adult life, as I am finding, gravitate towards a good cook.

Games this weekend at Marauders Airsoft (old Southwest Paintball Field) will be a series of small 30 minute missions with breaks in between.

Missions will include securing an ammo dump, rescuing hostages from insurgents, defending a location during a mortar attack, VIP Escort through town with IED's.

Players will be divided amongst teams according to uniform and equipment.  We will also play a number of games that are simple force on force games.

Send me a pm if you have specific questions about the game.

Is the no hicap rule still in effect?

this is a change form the normal games. But change can be good and bad.

I believe the no hi-cap rule remains in place, but if thats all someone has we usually restrict them to semi-auto only.

Are you guys seriously gonna be rule nazi's with this. I use hi-caps but only fire 5 or 3 round bursts. I just don't want to carry a bunch of magizines since I just play to play.

That rule was thrown out when they gave us guidelines. Since I don't full auto I don't see a problem with it.

Its our field - our rules.  We dont HAVE to explain them, but yes, we strive for more mil-sim.  Our rules are essentially a duplication of the Lionclaws series op rules

If you don't like the rules you don't have to come out.  The rules are not open to discussion.

No, a hicap is any mag that has to have a wheel wound on the bottom to feed, drum mag, electric feeding drum mags, etc.  Basically, any mag that needs to be wound to work.

No, not necessarily.  High Capacity means anything that holds lots of BBs.  Just because it winds dosn't mean its can hold 100s of BBs, although that is almost always the case.  I have an UZI that can hold 250BBs and it dosn't wind.  Is that low cap? No. No it is not.  Hi-Cap must have a referance.  How many BB can a mag hold before it is qualified as High Capacity?  Where do we draw the line between low-cap and mid-cap?  If anyone knows how many BBs a mag holds until it is labeled as Hi-Cap.  Please share.
Title:
Post by: Marauders Airsoft on September 23, 2006, 08:54:55 PM
For clarification on game rules.  We allow high capacity and winding magazines on Saturday games that are not milsim or scenario games.

During large events, we restrict magazine usage to non-winding magazines.  If you have a specific question about a magazine at a game send me a pm.

Less talk, more airsoft!  See you on October 7th!

Tm uzi mags hold 220bb's
Title:
Post by: Doc Hollywood on September 24, 2006, 12:09:02 AM
"Hi-Cap" magazine restrictions, when in fact in place, are directed to winding type magazines of any BB capacity.  Any "non-winding" mag, whether standard/low-cap, or mid-cap, that does not wind to feed the bb's, is not a "hi-cap" for purposes of mil-sim.

Its not about the amount of bb's... not yet anyway.

I dunno what Uzi you're using, but that is not an AEG.  And a hicap is any mag that winds, look on any site and you will see.

The fps limit is 375 fps with .25bb's, and yes the feild fee is $20. hi cap are allowed as far as i know on satruday games only. And they are not allowed at big games like SandStorm.

Marauders Airsoft is back from Operation Irene IV and ready for some games this Saturday at our field.  To get to the field, drive west on Bell Road past 200th Avenue and turn right onto Crozier Road.  Follow the dirt road 2 miles until you come to the field.

Registration opens at 9 am.  Open games are $20 for the general public.
Games will end at 2 pm.  See you there!

If you are planning to attend the game this Saturday, send me a pm with your uniform color and type of weapon.  This will help our staff coordinate what type of games will be held this weekend.

We will have at least one VIP Escort, Raid on Ammo Dump, and Attack and Defend game.  Based on the total numbers of players and skill level, we may also have some large force on force games.

Currently, it looks as if we have about 20 players who have reserved spaces for the game.  There might be a few walk on players as usual.  Don't forget to bring SEALED eye protection.

Students in Free Enterprise will be selling drinks and snacks at the game.

You can also bring old gear to sell at the Airsoft SWAP meet.

See you tomorrow.

Man I want to go... I wanted to break out the digital camouflage even though I don't have a MARPAT helmet cover yet, for this game but I don't have any sealed protective goggles yet. I wish ESS wasn't so damn hard to get a hold of. Everything else I've tried fogs so bad it's really more of a waste of time and money to pick them up.

If you need a pair I have some. I have 2 full paintball masks and motocross goggles which I wear. Those goggles saved my right eye from a golfball size rock. I also think that the Marauders have some full masks since they did last time but ASK them before you go.

Hey Daytr8er! isn't your quote a duke nukem line?

If you need a pair I have some. I have 2 full paintball masks and motocross goggles which I wear. Those goggles saved my right eye from a golfball size rock. I also think that the Marauders have some full masks since they did last time but ASK them before you go.

I'm cool but thanks!!! I'm going to swing by AZ Tactical as soon as they open to grab some of those new ESS Advancer goggles since they have a few in. Need to pick up a camelback anyways. I think I might be a little late to the game though since AZ Tac doesn't open until a bit later.

Just wondering but what were the FPS limits out there at SW Paintball?

Just to drop a line...I had a blast guys!  To be very honest, I was worried about all of the kids being there, but Mike did a terrific job of directing the entire day.  You guys (Marauders) have definately got you stuff together.  This was the most professional and well planned game I've been to.

I believe 375 with .25s.

And yea it was fun. Except being picked LAST even though I wounded/stopped the VIP by myself and was the only one to storm the base and kill almost everyone in it....

Thank you to everyone who came out to Saturday's game at Marauders Airsoft (the old Southwest Paintball.)  Although it was warm, we had about 8 ten minute force on force games and two small 30 minute missions.

Great job by all of the players adapting to the different games.  My favorite part of the day was:

Ziggy "Demo is ready to blow!"

Kyle moving to demo - "Mike nothing is happening.  I keep hitting the trigger, why is nothing happening"

Kyle - "Oh the detonator was off - my bad"

The next game is scheduled for next Saturday from 10 am - 3 pm.  Same guidelines.  I will be posting a new thread for discussion and posting of questions as this thread is getting a bit long.
