Weekend Games at VIP (new CQB arena), August 20th-22nd

understand, i am not hosting a scenario or anything of the sort this weekend... rather, i made this thread so those interested in attending the venue can see who is going on which day, and we can maximize the game(s). i understand MTT is hosting an event on saturday night, that is completely separate. the field will still be open for play for other players throughout the weekend, MTT will have the field rented out for their event.


for those who are new to vanguard, all of the information you can ask for is located on their website. i will post it here for ease of access

tuesday: closed
wednesday: 5pm-9pm (session 1)
thursday: 5pm-9pm (session 1)
friday: 4pm-8pm (session 1), 8pm-12am (session 2)
saturday: 10am-2pm (session 1), 2pm-6pm(session 2), 6pm-10pm (session 3)
sunday: 12pm-4pm (session 1), 4pm-8pm (session 2)

Pricing:

monday: closed
tuesday: closed
wednesday: $15 per session
thursday: $15 per session
friday: $20 per first session, $10 for second/third session (purchase one session, get $10 off the next..)
saturday: $20 per first session, $10 for second/third session (purchase one session, get $10 off the next..)
sunday: $20 per session, $10 for second session (purchase one session, get $10 off the next..)

if you buy two sessions, you get the third free (day of..)

rental equipment: $15 per session, $5 for second/third session (purchase rental for one session, get $10 off the next..)

BBs: $5.00 for 1000 house BB's, or $3.00 for 500. (house ammunition is required to play at the VIP)

i will be there for sunday's session for sure, depending on what time i get into arizona i might also make it to the second saturday session as well. i'll be bringing a couple players with me as well, see you all out there!


steelworks currently has 3-4 members planning to attend the sunday session, numbers will fluctuate throughout the week.

the weight is .20, i called to find out what brand they use and he couldn't give me an answer.. i did find out that they buy them in bulk.

i asked if players could bring their own ammunition if it was in a brand new sealed container, but they won't allow it. my reasons behind that question were that some players prefer to only use a certain manufacturer's ammo, but it is what it is.

if their munitions screw up my rifles, i'm not footing the bill! (just kidding, i'm not worried about it at all)

Their ammunition is echo 1 rebrands .20's I have been using their brand since I have been playing (9 mos now) so I can reassure that their bb's are fine!

what are the fps limits?

The fps limits are broken down into three tiers.
Green tier is 330 and under
Yellow tier is 350 and under
Red tier is 380 and under

The great majority of the games that will be played will be green tier only. Yellow tier will only be used if a number of the players have guns that chrono under 350. and Red tier will rarely be used and is for players ages 18+

To make things simple on yourselves, bring a gun that chrono's at 330 or under and you will be able to play in every game.

they are employing a "tier" system..

from what i remember in our discussions, it will be like this;

< 330 for tier 1
330 - 350 for tier 2
350 - 380 for tier 3

lower tiers can play with higher tiers, but not vice versa..

affirmative, i have confirmation that an iron mask and sealed goggles are acceptable PPE. in fact, that is what our whole team uses
