Well, I didn't know the steelclan was afraid of some wind and a 4% chance of rain.  I would play whether it was clear out or not. I was looking forward to some crazy night stalking. The moon is pretty full, and I just attached a flashlight to my AK. C'mon now...Don't be a VAGINA! The words "Weather" and "Yuma" don't belong in the same sentence. It will be as temperate as always.

Pistols at dawn Ed. Saturday...I can get some friends to come out to Yuma Lakes. It's on like Donkey Kong for Saturday. Yuma Lakes is pretty nice now without the snowbirds there. I built a kick ass fort and cleared some trails to make the thick parts more maneuverable, and I haven't gotten a chance to play since I did all this. There are about 120 sandbags in this fort as well as log walls and it has little dirt cliffs on two sides. Two people could defend it. Its also got "rooms" inside it made from log walls. It is amazing what one person can do with a machete and a shovel! Think hobo palace. I want to do some attack and defend in this thing.

I will work on exact directions. It is basically right near the chevron and circle k on Hwy 95. That road between them (Ave 7E) goes out by the Gila river. You drive past the river, a canal, some power installation thingy, and then there is a big sign that says "Yuma Lakes". Turn Right there and go down the road towards the giant power pole/concrete structure. Head straight past the small lake on the right and make another right into the wooded area just past the lake. You're there.  I want to do a night game, so 8:00pm rendezvous and 9:00pm guns'a'blazin'!!

We should play in a produce shed. Those thisngs are like ice cold warehouses. If there were any venue here, I would play. I updated the directions to be more exact. Let me know if you need more detailed directions Ed or anyone else.

The storm was short and the weather is almost clear already. It is set for saturday night. 8pm...It is too hot on the day to skirmish. I edited an earlier post with a time and directions. If you need more info PM me. Steelclan and I are bringing people. Yuma Lakes is nice and wooded, so a night game will be fun. I doubt there will be a flood or anything too adverse. Make sure to bring a flashlight and extra batteries. It will be warm and humid, so bring water as well.

The game is still on... Weather is very nice if you like to sweat your balls off. Bring water and flashlights. We are expecting at least 10 people right now. Yuma Lakes is quite a safe and contained area, so night play should be fun. Last time I was out there tidying up I saw a bunch of BBs inside the fort that weren't mine, so someone else has played out there too. I think they stole some sandbags though :?

Kinter was very fun last night.  I especially enjoyed the VIP game. Too bad the damn scorpions chased us out of Yuma Lakes; it is definitely a better day time spot. Thanks to everyone who came out, especially to Ed coming all the way from Phoenix. I was hoping we can set a day for next week's game so we can all plan to attend. Does Saturday at 8:00pm sound good for everybody? I enjoyed chillin with the new steelclan (I forgot what they are called now), but Everyone needs to get BRIGHTER flashlights, so you don't have to borrow mine :D
