Jeez I'm gettin senile in my old age.  Figure 7:30-8 to start setting up.  If the speciual forces people want to show up as close to 7:30 as possible, it will give them time to set up barricades as they wish and prepare.  [:D]

Can we have a few games where we do a scenario where we have to protect the hotel? cuz' the CQB thing is kinda getting old [:p]  I like playing out in the forest, where we can hide and stuff [:)]

The Op will take place at the hotel.  The special forces people will get to set up defenses as best they can and set patrols.  [:D]

Sure Elf.  For directions, take I10 south towards Tucson (or west to Phoenix). Turn off at the Red Rock exit (after Pichacho peak). Take the road west. You'll know you're on the right track when you pass the cow level, er farm and its turns to a dirt road. The total distance is almost 8 miles from the turn off. You'll see the brick walls of the old hotel on the right.  It's real hard to miss and we should be there by 7 am.

As to a prize, I'm afraid not this time.  I just dropped $300 on airsoft acessories and can't afford buying a prize at this time.  Probably next month.  [:)]

WOW! .43g BB sounds GREAT!!!! I'll take 2!!! But I'll feel bad if I win this also, so what I'll do is I'll make sure someone else gets this one, since I won the last game's prize.... well, I didn't actually win it, but I sure did steal the prize from the winner (Alex) [;)]

BTW, Elf, Reaver said you owe him 5 bux now, for the directions, you can paypal 'HIM' at JDMintegraTypeR@hotmail.com [:)]

Good game all, except for the fact that Cub's car needs a new engine.  Did anyone notify the authorities?  After everyone left and we were waiting for a tow truck, a "sheriff" in a truck came up and yelled at us for airsofting, and told us we were on private property.  He had a 44 revolver in his lap, unholstered, pointed at us.  Thats not cool guys, not cool at all.

No it isn't, was this an actualy Department Vehicle? or just some numb-nutts in a pickup?

Reaver didn't you say origionally (several games back) that you had permision for useing the sasco area, or was that someone else? If so for future games might want to get it in writing to cover all bases. Would hate to loose the area before I get to play there!

I've talked to the DPS and sherrif and word is that is open land.  Paintballers are there all the time as well.  Some people also drive around the backside and target shoot against the cliff side.  In the multiple times we've played, we also have never had any law enforcement out there.  Frankly, I would have liked to have the guys badge number.  Something doesn't smell right about that. Scott what county is the Area in? If someone can go to the county Assesors Office they can pull up the plat maps that will tell you if it really is "public land."  It looks like it (from descriptions/ directions) is close to the county lines of pinal, Pima, and maybe gila from my map.  Also if the area is "State Trust" you must have a permit to be on it or you can be charged with tresspassing.

DPS and the local county mounty don't always know if land is private or public. Just because there isn't a fence or signs doesn't mean it is public. I'll do some searching but Doubt I will find the plat maps online in those counties.

The Badge number would have been nice, that way we could find out where his information comes from. Again from the pics I've seen the place looks killer would hate to loose it to airsoft before I get to play there, and if it is as killer as it looks the I DEFFINANTLY do not want to loose it.

It was a Pinal County Sheriff in a G.M. truck,we drove past him on the way out.so it would probably be in pinal county.

I found the place on the map, it is in Pinal County. Anyone live there? If so do you have time to visit the Assesors Office? I haven't been able to find if it is on state or BLM land, but I'm still checking.

Did you guys notify the proper law enforcement authorities that day?  This is usually a good idea (requirement) when planning an airsoft game.  These glorified toy guns we play with do look pretty real...

Situation Report:  Gunderson Corp. has finished a prototype computer system that could well evolutionize the computer industry for the next decade.  Fearing potential corporate espionage, Gunderson Corp. has hired a group of retired Special Forces to protect the site until the unveiling of the prototype on Monday the 20th.  The special forces unit is charged with patrolling the grounds and protecting the building and prototype.  As the shadow team may come from any direction, security must be preapred for any possible entry.

A shadow team will attempt to infiltrate the building and steal the prototype for thier employer.
