Where: Papago Arizona National Guard Base, 5636 E McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ
Open game, no admission cost, 18+ only (unless playing alongside a parent)
Directions:
Parking will be located on the run-way.
Address is 5636 E McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ. North Gate on BUSHMASTER.
At the Gate you will need a valid drivers license to enter.
When you get to the gate, ask the gate guard how to get the rappelling range/land navigation course. Its basically a right turn at round about follow the signs from there.
Typical AA rules apply...

Please keep in mind this is on a Military installation. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF. If we keep leaving trash like what happened at the last OP we will loose the privilege of playing at a really nice place (Within city limits) and for FREE.
So be responsible, be respectful.
This game will probably start to happen around 7am.

Okay, finally got the solid start we can begin out here for Saturday:

We will go as late as the majority wants, but realistically we will probably end around noon time. The heat index will probably be too much by that time anyway.
Its going to be green vs tan. Please note, ACU is not allowed for this event. Multicam will be placed depending on team balance.

THOSE ATTENDING LC,
I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to attend. This game is for you to test your gear and your loadouts, get your stuff in working order. After the game I would like to get all those who are attending LC or anyone wanting to know more about LC rounded up so we can go over some basics that will help the Arizona Platoon perform better. We will also do a Q&A at the end for those who are new to LC or new to the AO so they can get some of their questions answered.
I would also like to know what everyone of you expect to get out of this year's LC event so we can task the platoon appropriately. IE. What is your goal at LC this year? Do you want to focus on completing as many game objectives as possible? Or do you prefer to find a fire fight for maximum engagement time, regardless of objective status? Are you interested in working with a cohesive platoon sized unit, squad level unit or do you just prefer to lone wolf it? I'm looking to get a feel on what the platoon wants. Please think about it and be ready to provide feedback at the event.

Just for future reference, I own a molle rig thats acu, but I wouldn't wear acu camo. I would wear something similar to ATAC. Would that be fine?

Totally missed this post until this morning. I'm polling the DH guys and am hoping we can make it out to participate in the after action LCXI orientation. If not I'll follow up with Mad Sarge and Airsofter1 but I think they know what our goals are ;)

Where do we enter from?

Enter the throught the North gate on Bushmaster. Take a right at the roand about. Follow the road to the end, take a right onto the airstrip. Drive down till you see my red red pop-up. Parking is right there.
Side notes:
Drink water - its going to be hot, and I'm the only Combat Life Saver assigned to the event, I haven't done a stick in almost 10 months.
Trash - if you brought it with you, bring it with when you leave. If we have to get "on line" and do a "basic training police call", we will.
Picture ID/Drivers Lic - You have to have a valid ID to enter Papago Park Military Reservation, that means everyone in your vehicle. As well as have current tags and and insurance to drive aboard PPMR.

The color of your gear doesn't matter, its what underneath that counts. ACU colored gear is fine, just not ACU uniforms.

Black is okay to wear on the green team. Also, British DPM (desert and woodland varieties) is okay. But not ACUs.

Thats the thing my license isnt exactly valid. If they run it which they sometimes do then Im screwed.... I used to live on an army base. Its not the thing I wanna mess with...

Well then you have two choices.
Don't go...
Or go to the MVD and get a Government issued ID Non Drivers licence. Which will mean that you will have to carpool to the base. Don't try and get on post illegally.

No I can get on base legally... No problems there. I just cant drive onto base. Thats why I was asking if I could carpool with someone.. From the front gate area.... And if anyone would volunteer.

Most games there r people walking around taken pics. My advice wear plain clothes and a died rag sounds good

In my experience with hosting games and having photographers on field. a bright orange "saftey/hunting" vest is best. unless there are other game mods will be wearing those. then I would suggest street clothes NO camo, and dead rag/ bright colors. simply to identify you form all players. so people will avoid shooting you.

i think that because of where the ao is that it is highly unlikly that there are going to be any under 18 alowences, especialy if there isnt a leagle gaurdian to sign for any medical stuff that just might happen at an event where we are runing around a mountain shooting at each other.

Not trying to be a buzzkill here. But to justify using the land navigation ourse, under age means 18 years old, if younger your with your parent the whole time.
Justification is that this is a Recruiting event. I have to work within the parameters of the target market for enlistment, 18-35 for non prior service and prior service people up to age 46.
Sorry but the last thing we need is my CSM sending me to JAG to explain why kids are playing BB-gun war on the land navigation course.
So if your under 18, and want to play your parent has to play right next to you.

Last OP I was taking pictures with a bright orange hat on. I was alright for the most part. I got shot at never hit. So If you are taking pictures this time recommended a bright hat is the best article of clothing you can wear.
Also, stop asking questions about kids playing under the age of 18 without a parent guardian playing next to them, it's been beaten to death already. Give up it's not happening.
I am debating taking pictures again this OP, I can't decide if I want to play or take pictures. I had a blast last time taking them.

Sounds like fun count us in 3 for green. We do have tan if need be to balance the teams a bit (prefer green though). One player does not have alot of experience but still wants to come, I hope that is ok.

had a blast today. most of the footage i shot on the gun cam was crap because i kept forgeting there was a cam on it and kept it pointed at the ground most of the time, but i will see if i can put a usable piece together. glad i got to shoot more this time than last.

To those who thought they missed the LC intro, don't worry. It never happened becuase we used all of our permitted time on base playing airsoft, we simply ran out of time for the breif and needed to be off base. We will do a dedicated platoon meeting in the next few weeks. We will go over the important factors that will help our platoon at the event. So keep a look out for that, and Mikey is also going to create an LC thread for those going to the event, so we can discuss matters there as well.

im still working on editing mine so that there is more shooting than ground.
yeah i forgot to turn on the camera before the gaurd came up on us and missed it.
missed a couple of other things too because i didnt have the cam turned on, but that how it goes sometimes.

Hey guys that was a blast, sorry for the new kids and the under 18, didnt end up well for some i heard, sorry about that. For one of them it was his first time.
Anyways my brothers friend got some footage (Shawn Farrelly). The one who got shot on the hill at the end, he used my brothers camera so my brother was wondering how to upload those pictures and videos, Please post or PM any helpful info on that.
