Title: Airsoft gi g4 a3
Post by: drummerace on April 10, 2012, 03:44:47 PM
Hey has anyone owned airsoft gi's g4 a3? I'm considering getting it and a smaller inner barrel so I can convert it between cqb and field gun. Or would there a more suitable gun?

If you've ever owned a G&G combat machine, then it's the same thing. All that makes it different is that they put a different R.I.S unit on it and put their own trademarks on the body.

I have the g4 pws, and I have no complaints other than having to swap the spring (blowback is a little extra work, but worth it).  Never really had to test it for accuracy so can't help you out there but I love it.

I saw the pws and considered it. What I like is they are all m4 variants so the clips are easily transferred between guns. What fps does your gun shoot?

Most of the G4's differ in fps. my flaming hog shot at 355 before the spring change. My 9" TRX shoots at 410 and my TRX full length shoots at 450.

I'm basically crafting my own G4 right now because they're all out of stock. I bought a G&G GR15 raider with the metal rails, a madbull outer barrel because the front sight is welded on and I want a cleaner look, and some MBUS sights and an MOE motor grip. I also got a silencer and am getting a longer inner barrel so I can convert from CQB to field. I get to customize whatever I want. The base gun is only 200 and then go from there. Changing the externals of a gun isn't hard if you have an allen wrench.

Is there another good base m4 close range gun? The reason I ask is I'd like to keep my dmr and cqb's both m4 for mag convince.
