Oh well, call it incentive to learn how to solder.

I just need to a get a soldering iron, some tin, and a 3rd hand.

you can buy the third hand at harbor freight, thats where i got mine.
soldering deans isnt that hard. me, slinkey, thatguy, gear box, and several other people/places can solder deans on your batts for cheap.

SHS purple steel toothed piston, with tooth #1 removed, and #2 half removed, And lightened for less mass.
13:1 gear set, M100 spring, SHS high speed, G&P high speed, or even magnum type motors (high torque high speed)
with proper shimming, Ball bearing bushings, and a good lubrication job.
ull hit 25 easy on a 9.6 high discharge.

I was hitting close to 40 on this exact setup with 11.1 3oc,
then i short stroked it and hit close to 50, then i said Ehh why not and DSG'd it...  Its still not fast enough.. tho..

LOL better then most, Its starting to show Metal wear, so i relubed the teeth. Iv only put about 15k thru it tho so far so. Imma give it another15k bb's and recheck.

Im hoping it turns out like the ones i normally use. Could save me like 15 bucks a piston
and doesnt just have the teeth wear off the piston rack

I am not a huge fan of jg or echo one. But personally I wouldnt even buy a spring until your get its fps. Also I know jg springs are weak so leaving it compressed and once broken in could easily put you under 350fps .2 The other thing I would stay is stay way from matrix motors they are crappy. People on this forum have problems with them out of the box let alone a bigger forum site. G&P 120 is trash Im not even sure why they make this motor and how they have the balls to sell it for 30-35. I have seen this motor have problems with a m100 spring and its supposed to pull m120. Personally Id go element turbo motor. They are china motors that work great. You rarely hear about them but in asia these motors are their systemas. They are cheap as well 32 bucks for a motor that rpms at system turbo speed which would easily add a good amount of rps.

As far as what I would add.

I am not sure if jg makes a m4 mag conversion but id get those.

Id get a 6-7 inch barrel extension or silencer. and add a longer tbb accordingly something around 363mm 370mm maybe even 410mm

if you wanted to make it faster look into lighter gears piston and better flow piston head

The G&P m120 is a fantastic motor.

BUT

The motors from SHS and Lonex are better
And terminus x makes the best motors you can buy.

i have a Matrix 3000 turbo motor and its just amazing. makes rof incredibly faster. so thats reccomended.
get an Upgraded PISTON, cause highspeed setups kill pistons unless you have a polycarb one.
and stick with a 9.6v or better battery and ur good! 8)
