Please don't try rappelling during an airsoft game, it is dangerous enough by its self and then you add the wisdom of an airsofter..

Ok thanks for the link. While I'm typing, are regular glasses allowed in replacement of tak gear?
Not unless you want to lose an eye. It needs to be ANSI z87.1 2003 certified or higher. That test is kind of roughly equivalent to taking a shotgun blast at 35 ft. Can your eyeglasses do that?

From what I can see from all of the thread discussion. The oakley flaks are way sleeker and seem more usable with scoped weapon systems. Going to have to try hard to find the frams onsale. Have any of you tried getting these from a liscensed optomatrist? I'm going to ask about them when I go to my eye appointment sat. See what I can find. Maybe its possible to get them through a glasses plus sunglasses deal, substituting the sunglasses for the taks. Long shot but I'm curious as hell.
The only real deal on a set of prescription oakley lens' will be if you are a Dealer, Military, LEO or somehow get lucky. I looked all over.. Try oakleyvault.com for the frames.

Another alternative is ESS' line of RX sunglasses, IIRC they should be z87.1 2003 rated lens' . The Frames are about 60 MSRP and my RX lens' would have been about $90.

ECommerce backend(probably 1200/month x 12mo) is a lot.

lolwut?   If you are paying that much for an ecommerce site, you are doing something wrong.  Even with the cost of a merchant account and SSL certificate, it shouldn't be costing you more than $200/mo.  In regards to the salary, they don't need somebody sitting there counting the goggles every day.  They simply need to inventory them in the first place.  If they aren't doing that, they have bigger problems.

But yeah, to second Vince, if you could get a picture from the inside, that would be great.

Really can't. My DSLR needs a new lens. Just imagine the most clear picture possible, and that is what you get. Minus glare, with a red/orange tint.

I saw a lot of you guys reccomending the Bolle T-800 goggles, so I did a quick search and found them on sale.

Here is the link: http://www.botachtactical.com/bolt8gog.html
Make sure to call ahead of time . The last time I ordered from Botach they didn't have my stuff I ordered in stock.

Seriously, if an item is displayed as "in stock" or not "out of stock" then it should be in stock. Otherwise, the whole business model is complete fail.
Lol, if you only knew what it costs to have an eCommerce system with like 20,000 items like Botach... They probably receive more than a dozen shipments a day and probably send out in the mid hundreds or more of customer shipments. If the goggles are that cheap, don't be a lazy turd and not spend three minutes to call and check before ordering them. Even if they had one guy who's job was to make sure items were in stock matching the website, the cost of his salary per year($30,000) plus the cost of the ECommerce backend(probably 1200/month x 12mo) is a lot.

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Re: Kwa glock 18c

Except KWA have no trades, and run a higher FPS and are usually made in Taiwan, but about half of the KSC guns are Japan made, have plastic slides, trades, and are 1joule or below.

Wasn't this labeled KSC/KWA this morning? Did you just determine it was KWA or what?

Will we be using natural cover or should people set up post or sandbags???
Uh, natural cover...unless you are gonna bring sandbags and fill a hundred or more of em.. :D/

The AO there is very green right now, I was out there about 3 weeks ago shooting and the wash was going full blast. There were also some hippies out there smokin some trees, but they aren't bothering anyone.

I will try but my point and shoot is older than some of the members on this board. The FOV distortion really isn't present because of the way the Oakley HDO system works, since it keeps the script throughout the entire lens. It really has to be experienced.. I didn't know you wore RX lens...
