Snipers
« on: February 17, 2010, 02:47:31 PM »
I was just wondering what a good sniper is to buy? I play in the desert and lightly wooded areas.
Thank You

SR-25's are pretty nifty.
SR-16's (M16 in sniper form... nearly the same as an SR-25, but uses m16 mags and the shorter gearbox) can be just as effective imo, and have more internal parts available.

L96 or the G22 variants are good.
just don't buy the licensed Mauser version, you're just paying for the name.

This is like asking "what is teh best carZ?"

Well, you can buy a eight million dollar Formula 1 Ferrari, or a three million dollar Koennigsig(sp)...

Instead of asking a completely open ended question, why don't you ask something like... 'what is the best sniper rifle under $XXX that can Shoot at XXX range effectively?"

I am sorry i left the topic to general. But i am looking for a sniper within the range of $300 and has at least 400fps and can accurately shoot at least 100-150 feet.

Hmm. I'll sell you a custom KJW m700. But the effective range is more like 250ft.

Yes. I have two mags Tapped for HPA/CO2 so fps is not an issue. It can use a quick change 12gram adapter tucked in the butt stock pouch.
