Echo 1 m28 help!
« on: February 28, 2012, 06:07:48 PM »
Alright so my buddy just gave me his e1 m28 but it's a little beat up. As in it's slam firing  :'(. I saw a couple vids on YouTube saying that the problem is the weak plastic piston and others saying its the trigger sears.... So I was wondering how do I fix it and what do I need to fix it along with what I need to make it a awsome sniper? Thanks guys ;D

Well to make an "awesome" snipe,  performance wise will take around 300$ to put in a decent piston, spring spring guide, and cylinder.   To just fix your problem buy the replacement trigger set off Gi.  I have a Tm vsr-10 that has well over 1500$ in PDI parts and a Prometheus barrel and i still have some problems being able to consistently hit some one at more than 200ft.    Sniping looks cool but unless you have some training on how to move and do recon it really isnt practical.

bring it to a tech, I Think theres 2 around town that will work on a bolt action.

it sounds like your sears. like all of the m28s iv seen have had the same issue.. shitty sears.
