CA90 Not Shooting?
« on: November 08, 2010, 09:38:39 PM »
My CA90 isnt shooting. Even when I manually insert bbs, it doesnt fire. The air nozzle is moving back and forth, the gun is just dry firing. I opened up the gearbox and everything was in good shape. Somebody please help me!

If there are no obvious problems in the gear box, check the seal between the nozzle and hop up.
I would hazard a guess that your hop up bucking is torn at the seal end.

But wouldnt the gun still feed and fire? (obviously not far, it would drop after 10ft) My gun isnt firing at all.

Without actually seeing the gun, it is difficult to tell.
I would suggest taking your gun to Gearbox and having them take a look for you.
They can be a good source for troubleshooting.

If its not shooting even if you manually load a bb in the hop up then its sounds like one of 2 things. 1 your not getting any seal at all from the piston head, that's the most likely source, or 2 the barrel is jammed. Sometimes its not the most complicated thing but the step You overlook that gets you. Take the barrel and hop up out and slide something down the barrel. If it doesn't come out the other end then there you go.
