AEG's / Reassembling gearboxes

Hello again,
I've been trying to close the gearbox I've been working on after getting my last couple parts today. I get everything together and when the spring is compressed it is insanely hard to close the gearbox. I know it's normally hard but nothing will stay put in the gearbox so I can't get it closed. Either the spring flies out the back or the gears fly out of the bearings despite trying to hold everything together it's just too hard to do while putting the top on. I don't have the money to have a tech do it and want to do it myself. If somebody knows why this is please help me figure out how to get the top on. Me and my dad tried to do it and that did not work either. Just so everyone knows, it's a version 3 GB for a g36.

AEG's / How to choose hop-up buckings.

Hello AA,
  I have a question for you today. Is there a "proper" way to choose the most optimal hop-up bucking for an airsoft rifle? I couldn't find a guide or even an answer to my question here or anywhere else on the internet. Is it just a preference or should you base it off fps, barrel length, and other variables?

AEG's / g36 full auto not functioning.

  I have a JG G36c that is bone stock, never opened. I am not sure what is wrong but after checking other forums and Googling for a little, I could not find anybody with a problem similar to mine.
 
 When firing on semi auto the gearbox will function normally provided it is a crisp, fast trigger pull. If I slowly pull the trigger back. It will fire a burst of two to ten or so rounds. When I switch the selector from semi to full, it will function just as if it was on semi auto still.

  My question is, how could I fix it on my own as cheap as possible. I don't want to take it to a tech since it is an extra and I want to practice fixing air soft guns so I can do it in the future.

     Today I have a Fender Stratacoustic guitar for sale. It is a nice, barely used electric/acoustic guitar. It's a little dusty but works perfectly fine. It has a built in tuner that runs from a 9-volt battery, and all 6 strings were replaced 3 weeks ago. Will come with guitar, camo guitar strap, capo, and pick. $150 O.B.O.
     I also have a Peavey Vypyr 15w guitar amp for sale. haven't even used it enough to know what all the knobs do. I do know you can have several preset setup and there is a knob with 12 effects. $75 O.B.O. buy both for $200 O.B.O.

Alright guys, I have a JG G36c that I am looking to get rid of. I installed a 300mm 6.03 modify hybrid tightbore in it. It will include an NC Star replica Aimpoint, full metal rail system, folding fore grip, M4 magwell, M4 buffertube with a clubfoot crane stock, 2 7.4v lipo batteries (one 5000MaH that is wired to deans, and one 1400MaH wired to small tamiya), an adapter for the batteries, 2 mid-caps and a hi-cap, speedloader, and two extra hop-up buckings. The catch is that there is no hand-guard pin and the gun doesn't fire full auto.  The total cost to build the gun add everything to it was over $450 and it has been fielded 4 times and has only had about 6,000 rounds through it. $250 o.b.o.

Alright. Just like the title says I'm looking for a working gas blow back pistol. It must have two or more mags and I would like if it came with a holster. I don't have a preference for a pistol so I'm open for literally anything as well as mac-11's of you guys are willing to do that. now what I have to offer.
TEXT 623-Three four one- 3001 for pictures of the first two guns.

First off, a crossman tri-shot shot gun with no shells.-clear version, never fielded but it could be painted or something.
Next, a TSD ASR sniper rifle- never fielded and comes with one mag and the original bi-pod. no scope for it. Just not a sniper kind of guy.

Lastly a Tokyo Marui Thompson M1A1- this was my pride and joy until the tappet plate broke. It has a full metal upper and a wooden hand guard. Cosmetic defect- the handguard was "modded" by the previous owner to fit on the body and has some weird stuff around the back of it. not really noticeable but thought I should mention it. pics for it available upon request. I have all parts except for the tappet plate which costs $12 on Evike. the spring, piston, and cylinder are in the bag that looks like there is nothing in it.

So I dropped by sector 9 airsoft today along with Plague, and loved the shop. It may be small, but they had everything I needed there for a cheaper price. I picked up some mags and bb's and decided to take a look at the consignment area. I looked inside and saw a little tiny pistol type thing. Being curious I asked what it was. After it was shown to me and I saw it was $35 working- I had to buy it. I got home, and we filled it with green gas(also bought at sector 9) and shot it. we charged it for two seconds, and then shot it. It was not powerful at all and seemed kinda stupid to me, then I thought about the fact that maybe I under charged it. So this time I charged it with gas for 4 seconds. I then proceeded to shoot the gun to see all 12 bb's come out powerfully and go about 20 feet, there was also a big menacing gas cloud that would be very intimidating to anybody. the bb's were flying faster than my g36 which at the time shot 330 fps with .25s. we were using .25s with the goblin as well. I love this gu as it would be a great CQB last resort gun and is fun to shoot. The trigger pull is rather heavy but I can live with that. Overall I really like the gun and would reccomend it to all players, new and expirienced.

AEG's / g36c help

okay AA, you're my last hope for this.
  I have been trying to put a longer inner barrel in my gun and then put a suppressor over it but I can't get the barrel assembly to come out. I have searched this on Google and youtube-no help. I have disconnected the magwell and removed the three screws as mentioned in other videos but no luck. Also, i cannot figure out how to get the shitty plastic flash hider off. I remember there was a thred a few months back asking that same question but couldn't find it. i have tried heating it with a lighter and cutting it and now i have resorted to sanding it down. please help me.

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Possibly a New Hatfield game on Saturday 12/29/12

Well guys, thats right. I am going to ask you to destroy your routine and possibly host the New Hatfield game on Saturday instead of Sunday. My Old Man's back on break from military school for whatever doesn't offend you and has to leave Sunday so if I could convince him to come, would you guys be okay with having it Saturday?

I really like the way this forum is set up so I started a team forum(for my team, of course. don't worry, it is for all people to use and discuss things on and also hopefully bring good players to AA) and picked a style similar to this layout so it is familiar to people visiting it from Airsoft Arizona. I am doing this as an extra credit project in TLC. Please ecome and check it out. Just remember it is still a work in progress so I still need to add to it.

Title pretty says the basic idea. Comes with all parts to make the gun exept for shims and a tappets plate. Not sure how much the shims will cost but the tappet plate is about $12-$13. Has a wood handguard that the previous owner attatched but it created a small cosmetic issue but is not very noticeable. $85 o.b.o

Site Suggestions / after action reports

so yesterday i realized from a non-airsoft realated form, that they had After Action Reports. this would end up under Arizona Game Discussions and should be labed as After Action Reports(if anyone can come up with a cool name then that could be it). It would serve as a place where people can talk about the game and post thier videos, pictures, leaving it more sorted from people who want to read about what happened/post about it and the people looking for a game this weekend.
Just my two cents.
