I have the KSC G17 with the metal slide and barrel.  I also installed the G&G metal guide rod.  it is one of the best GBBs I have ever owned or shot.  For a simple, reliable, cost-effective sidearm, you cannot go wrong with the Glock.  By the way, my G17 cycles the metal slide just fine without the use of a hi-flo valve or any other assistance.

speaking of glock 19's... what kinda gas do you guys recommend?  I want to use green gas, but from what i hear its not good for gbb's in hot weather.

I HATE saying this, but after having picked up Paco's 19 (all metal) I am finally convinced that the GBB market has a leader.  The Glocks are the best GBBs I have ever used.  I am using green gas and the power is awesome.  It is fast, consistent, and accurate.

Lol...  I'll tell you, of all the GBB's I have owned - and there has been a lot - the Glocks with the metal kits sound the absolute BEST when you cycle the slide.  They're also great because they are made to use green gas.

Glad you like it Kyle, I would have kept it, but I prefer a handgun that's a TAD larger.  I'm probably going to pick up a Para Ordinance and upgrade it with a metal slide and some other internals to use green gas reliably.

Green gas sounds good, its cheaper that way too.  My glock 19 should be here this week [:)]

Matt showed me a link to a Para that was all metal (LOTS of photos, as in pages of them) and it was really sweet.  I couldn't spend that kind of money on a backup gun, but it was really sweet.  For the money I paid (thanks, Jason)I doubt I could possibly do any better on a GBB than this Glock 19.  Sweet shooter and very surprising all around.

I got a KWC Glock 17 Lightweight, CLosed Breech! Love it! The gun is great, but the seals are just worn! Just need new mag valves or new O-rings! They are really nice guns (Airsoft or real) and dont have an external hammer that could snag, or a saftey that might be left on!
