Gas Powered Guns / Western Arms Infinity PKII "Gigant"
« on: January 30, 2004, 12:09:41 AM »
Ok, so I'm thinking of getting one of these. What I want to know is,
1.If it's basically a 6" infinity w/ a 3.9" slide, will all the standard upgrade parts (slides, nozzles, springs and such),and mags  fit it?
2.What upgrades should I do to make it reliable for green gas (w/ proper maintenance)?
3.Does anyone have any experience with this gun?

Gas Powered Guns / MP5 vs. M11

I'm debating between a Maruzen MP5KA4 CQB Limited Edition and a Maruzen M11 CQBIII ( Limited Edition ). If anyone has any reviews or opinions I'd appreciate them.

Gas Powered Guns / KJW Elite IA upgrade
« on: January 17, 2004, 02:50:29 AM »
Hi there, I just got into airsoft a few months ago, and recently purchased an Elite IA. I've upgraded the barrel (6.04mm), piston head (PDI), hammer spring, and the floating valve (Firefly). All well and good, but honestly I want more power. I dont really want to spend all the money on Hi-flow valves for the magazines (3 of them, kinda pricey not to mention the increased gas consumption). So, I had an idea, if I increased the spring tension on the floating valve, and thereby diverted more gas to the BB before cycling the action, would I get an increase in FPS or just a big cloud of vapor out the barrel? Thanks in advance for your input.

p.s. Any other upgrade ideas would be welcome

I was looking into gbb select fire weapons and it seems to be a choice between maruzen mp5 or m11, various glocks, m93r and this. From what I've read, this has the highest power, longest barrel, and best accuracy. Also upgraded WA's seem to be very reliable. And I figure a little target and a little skirmish, see what happens. With a stock and a red dot I think it could be pretty useful in a skirmish.
What do you think?
Thanks for the "useful" input

Ok, but performance wise, any problems? And original questions 1 and 2?
