I think that's been posted on here a few times already, including one discussion on it that was about 4 pages long...  [:p]

However, don't get your hopes up...  HK doesn't have a very good reputation when it comes to selling to civilians...  [:(]

hachacha thats a purty rifle.  Now if they plan on replacing the colt m4a1 anytime <i>REAL</i> soon and the HK varient is better id take it.

The sad part is that it wouldn't take much to retrofit the current M16/M4 line to a gas piston system instead of the direct gas to the bolt carrier system it now uses.

No need to wait to buy an H&K M4.

"While development and validation testing of the HKM4 is still ongoing, it is anticipated that HK will offer retrofit services for existing M4-style
weapons to the HKM4 standard for U.S. and foreign military and law enforcement users. A “ drop inâ€￾ HKM4 upper receiver module and a complete carbine are also nearing completion."

I'm sure anyone will be able to buy just the upper receiver unit and converty your Bushy, Armalite, Oly, or Colt to an H&K.

Kyle's conflicted because it's an M4 but also an H&K.  Being an H&K fan he wants to jump up and down yelling hooah! But because it's based on an M16 platform he wants to jump up and down and say it will jam and jam and jam!
