I assume it's a SAR-1, correct?  Does it have the laminated furniture?  How's the front sight?  Is it canted at all?  How's the trigger on it?  Any trigger slap?

Oh yes, I forgot to add that it has a Dragunov stock.  Its not laminated, its wood.  I dont know what canted means.  If you mean bent, no its not.  I also dont know what trigger slap is.

You should keep the AK Joey, it's a hell of lot cheaper to shoot than an AR.  You can buy 1000 rounds of Wolf 7.62x39 for $79 out the door at J&G.  Expect to spend close to double that for .223/5.56 ammo.

I agree.  As the mantra goes, when trying to decide between two guns, just get both!

Even die-hard AR fans seem to always say that it's nice to keep a cheap AK in the safe.

Ive decided to sell the AK.  I cant afford to keep two assault rifles around.  The $290 stands firm.  PM or email if interested.

What kind of scope mount did you end up buying for it.  Does it mount to the side rail?

No, I couldnt afford one.  It replaces the top cover, and has two screw to keep it secure.  It stays perfectly tight.  It also has a hollow raised rail so you can still see the iron sights.

SOLD FS: Romanian AK 47 (WASR-10)

I recently bought this gun new, but wish to switch over to an AR 15, and cant afford to have two assault rifles.  The gun has about 700 rounds through it, most of which were shot after I put a Buffertech recoil buffer in the gun.  It will come with a scope mount, 30 round mag, and 10 round mag.  Its a great gun, and alot of fun to shoot, I just want to try out an AR.

I paid 270 for it new.  20 for the recoil buffer, 20 for the scope (4x20), 20 for the scope mount, and 10 for the 10 round mag.

Pictures available by email.  Kupek@cableone.net

$310
