When I first started shooting 223/556 it was about $5.00 per 20.  Now the cheapest price I have seen is $13.00 per 20.  Lone Wolf has them, but I think the days of shooting cheap are over.

I've been to a couple of Walmarts lately and they've had the higher quality hunting loads. Might want to try there. $1 a shot is about as cheap as it gets right now.

Just order it online, I've seen it recently going for 32-40 cents per round. Personally I reload it myself for about 17-18 cents per round, and I would definitely recommend making the investment and pick up reloading equipment and learn how to use it all properly. It's definitely worth it in the long run.
