DAMN airsoft!  It's not a "C" if it's long!  C means Compact.  Geez!

@ the shops it is listed as "C", probably due to the fact that it is applied to the G36c... and http://hk-usa.com/pages/military-le/rif ... /g36c.html says that the C stands for "Compact Carbine".

According to the CA website it is a "Long Version Fore Grip For G36C."  So blame the retailers for misnaming it, not Classic Army.

I won't hurt anyone.  I just hate how weapon designations get mutilated through the apparent use of language translators.

The MP5 thing still boggles my mind![?]

Arrg, not that it's worth arguing, but @ airsoftextreme it is listed as a G36c Long Foregrip. I'm just saying... that's what they listed it as. I'm sorry I didnt go to the soucre Kurn, now you may give me a spanking.

You guys are like forum hawks. Does a buzzer go off when someone posts on the AA forum?

No buzzer, just a row of flashing lights.
[;)]

Sorry for picking on you yellowmonkey.  By the way, where on the Airsoft Extreme webpage is the foregrip?  I can't seem to find it...

As far as i know there are:

G36E - which has the long front end and a 1.5x scope.
G36K - which as a standard dual scope mount and i think just a tab bit shorter then the E
G36C - which is the shortest one hence COMPACT (or Commando) and only has the iron sites
MG36 - basicly the G36 standard with a large clip i believe.

I have the G36E since but i think its listed as a K or a KE on some sites i looked at or its listed as the extended front for the g36c as stated above. Ether way i like the extended front end and with a few mods to it you can put in a 9.6 3000 mHa battery in it.

E means export.  Any of the designations can be followed by an E, with the exception of the MG36.

example: G36E, G36KE, G36CE, etc

The full length is just called "G36".

edit:  BTW, the designation has to do with the barrel length.  The stock is just something that varies with the models as they are all sold with different version stocks.  A KE might have a slightly different stock than the K, which is what distinguishes it.  Example:  The C <i>might</i> have the same stock as the KE, but is a C due to the barrel length.

Da da da da Blah blah

I just hit the internet and most pages i ran into where saying the diff is what i posted. However i know the lengths in the barrels are not the same. Hey you learn something new every day and today is no exception :)

Kurn the foregrip is on the very righthand side of the /accessories/rail  systems part of the airsoftextreme page.
Also, http://www.heckler-koch.de/html/english ... index.html
has a very good photographic reference for some of the different G36 variants. You can visually compare the guns for yourself, directly from the source. Who can deny that the G36's are some of today's but-kicken'est, cool weapons; despite their somewhat European asthetics. Everyone should have a gun like that! [:D]

CA G36c Long Foregrip
« Reply #12 on: January 19, 2004, 02:18:02 AM »
I am currently considering buying a G36c Long Foregrip as shown here: http://airsoftextreme.com/images/gif/ca ... regrip.gif
I just wanted to know if any of you had anyting in particular to say about this accessory especially as far as part integrity,  functionality, and how well it fits on to the TM G36c. I must say that it seems like a good alternative to the G36KE conversion kits. I'm hoping to increase FPS and accuracy with this (only as much as can be expected). Since I can't find any reviews or info on it, I'll try to review it for you guys too... if I get it.
