As far as I know, there are only a few manufacturers that make their regular commercial items in the darker coyote brown.

498 brown -

Paraclete
SOE
Kifaru
Camelbak

Khaki -

Eagle
SOTech
Tactical Tailor
HSGI
Blackhawk
Tactical Assault Gear
Emdom USA
SDS

Some manufacturers offer both a khaki and 498 brown color, like Battlelab & CSM Tactical.

And then there are companies like Kifaru and HSGI will make whatever in whatever cordura you can get them.  There are always exceptions, too... I have some khaki Paraclete pouches, and Eagle and HSGI makes/has made stuff in darker brown. It can be confusing at best.

---

So as to not stray too far off course, Azsarge's gear does look pretty cool.  I really like the GP Pouch and the Admin Pouch.

It doesn't seem to turn up too well in these photos, but the Battlelab pouches are at least twice as dark as the SDS IRACK underneath.  It'll all be dirty colored eventually.

To me, Tan is tan.  I don't care whether it's called Coyote Tan, Camel Tan, or Desert Tan.  It's light, yellow, and only blends with desert sand environments.  Alot of gear companies are calling the color of cordura they use "Coyote Tan" to tap into the popularity of Coyote BROWN.

Furthermore, tan seems to be a color that isn't around very much anymore.  Eagle, LBT, and SOE spring to mind as companies that had true tan gear.  Somewhere between like a "wheat" and gold color.  Khaki (Matt Johnson Khaki) seems to be the prefered color for gear nowadays.

Whats neat about a lot of these "newer" colors of gear is that they seem to be nearly chameleonic in the way that they take on the color of the surroundings.

AFAIK Eagle doesn't make tan gear anymore, but only the MJK.

Is that all BPG?  If so, it's Camel Tan.  Notice how close it is to Coyote, except lighter.

How is that H2O pouch attached onto the straps?

What I like most about the CB gear. The color seems to change or lighten or darken with the BDUs that you wear

Then why didn't you buy CB gear?  That stuff is Camel Tan. 8)

Can we get a shot of the inside of that rig?  I'm curious about the hydration carrier attachment and the plate carrier pouch.
