I hope they learned their lesson! They risk losing paintball (i sure wouldnt want that!) and airsoft by doing stupid acts that will make all adults think minors are not responsable and give them the idea that we are all like that. I hope they get charged! Shooting kids..how could you do that?

he got shot in the buttocks. heh heh. they were definitely in the wrong neighborhood at the wrong time doing the wrong thing. I'm just happy that no one actually died over this stupid incident.

People do this alot.  I am glad to hear someone finally shot back!  They should be thankful they didn't have a run in with LE!  They might have gotten a ticket and a court date to go along with the second hole in the arse.  I am kind of glad to see this, knowing now that they will be ok (less a few millimeters of flesh on the backside).  I cannot say the real steel gunman overreacted.  Paintball guns do sound quite real if heard by someone not used to the sound.  Maybe these little immature maggots will tell all their little immature maggot friends about what happened.  
This kind of behavior is ruining paintball.  As much as I cannot stand paintball, I hate to see such an activity be destroyed by immature kids who probably picked up the gun at Wal-Mart of Sports Authority, and have no idea what the sport is all about.  Lets hope it never goes this far with airsoft!
Out of curiosity, did anyone press charges against them?  That is a crime, I thought.

Yep, it's a crime what they did.  I wonder if the 18 year old is treated any differently as the 17 yr old.  It will depend on firearms-related laws in their state as they pertain to minors.

He prolly wont be carged because it is only self defence. Since he thought it was a real gun that was shootin at him.  But if he didnt have a licence for his weapon, hes gettin it to.
